The service was fast and courteous. Â I was nervous when I saw that they allowed smoking in this restaurant (it is in a casino, after all), but we couldn't smell any smoke from where we sat in non-smoking. Â I ordered the Seafood Alfredo and my daughter ordered the lobster rolls. Â The quality of the food was good for the price and the quantity was just right, but don't expect to take any leftovers home. Â We ate around 5 PM on a Friday and there was a 10 minute wait. Â I would expect I wait longer later in the evening.
Review Source:What a mistake. After waiting what seemed like 1/2 hour for our food, the order was all sorts of wrong. No blueberries in the blueberry pancakes. White toast instead of wheat. But the best was the piece of bacon on my eggs (I'm a vegetarian). Luckily the hubby's eggs were not contaminated. If we weren't so hungry, we would've sent it all back but by this point we just wanted to get out of there.
Do yourself a favor and go to Dunkin Donuts across the street.
On Sept. 4, 2011 in Syracuse NY 10 burgers (one from each region of ny) battled for the best burger in the state. Â After hearing about their nomination for the best burger in their region my friend and I went to see what their burger was all about.
There are 2 types of food at casinos... the good and the cheap. Winning a nomination I felt that Emerald was one of the nicer places. In the end it was the later. Nominations were based on votes. They definitely have the foot traffic to get the votes. If your there and need a bite then it a cheap place to go without leaving the tables to cool. If your there for the burger you might want to drive a bit further. Although it will beat a fast food joint still a food factory feel.
I'm rating it 4 stars based on the fact that while you're at the casino, you are pretty much at their mercy when it comes to food choices. Â In the real world, I would rate it more like a 3. Â
I'd suggest you stick to something basic like a club sandwich or a salad - something that would be hard for them to screw up. Â If you like chicken wings, try the Buffalo Chicken Salad (hot of course!) Â
Don't let the long line of people waiting to get in discourage you, it moves pretty quickly.
A favorite dining spot for our group of friends, especially for the price and the fact that they're always open no matter what time we decide go.
The service is usually quick and friendly, and you can pretty much go in with $10 and walk out stuffed. The food isn't exactly the best of the best, but it's definitely delicious and worth a late night craving.
My friends and I were partying late at Lava and were looking for a place to eat at wee hours in the morning. Â All the restaurants were closed and Emerald's was our only choice. Â We totally under estimated the place. Â The server was really sweet and nice, and provided great service. Â Surprisingly, the food was pretty good. The prices were actually decent! Â We are from the City and were expecting to pay $$$ for diners food. Â
Emerald's is a diner and services diner food, and opens really late. Â Conveniently located inside the TSC and near LAVA. Perfect!
Emerald's is Turning Stone's casual restaurant that servers breakfast all day, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, pastas, etc.
The quality and service are good. Over the weekend I had the vegetarian sandwich, which was crisp and fresh and served with fruit . Then I got the grilled/marinated chicken sandwich. I loved this sandwich. My lunch began with a salad, from a bag, but the best ever warm rolls. Then the chicken was juicy and flavorful. I put it on the warm rolls and discarded the multigrain bun it came in. The meals are simple and tasty. Some of the items are obviously bagged or canned but still good.
