You will not find better food in the QC. Seasonal menus, great wine and beer selection, and knowledgeable staff all make this place a must. Â Chef Robert is not afraid to think outside the box when it comes to high end cuisine. Â With that being said, if you are looking for a big city dining experience in a beautiful small town, this is the place you need to be.
Review Source:Best thing about our meal was my one glass of wine, Peterson Red Zin. Â This place used to be good, but sadly, something is off. For example, weird combinations such as grilled peaches on tiny $9 salads with undetectable amounts of tasteless dressing. Â Grilling bland peaches doesn't improve flavor or make it 'good' exotic. Â My undercooked, under-seasoned mahi-mahi was topped with zucchini and wrapped in some kind of pork casing, in my book, casing is inedible, unappealing, and zucchini offers zero flavoring. Â It was amusing that, when asked, the staff seemed reluctant to inform me my fish was wrapped in pork 'casing.' Â This is an expensive SWING-and-a (miserable) MISS.
Review Source:Went for dinner last evening and the food was fine and in some cases excellent. Â Waitress was perky and attentive, but they still need to work on the details. Â It is rough around the edges - literally and figuratively. Â I am hopeful and try to focus on just the food. Â They need to remember they are not playing the "whole in the wall card, with great food".
