I worked out of jersey for a while two years back and heard about this pizzeria. Apparently they had a bigger place once but now the owner has semi retired to this smaller location.
Family run. Almost no seating, and whatever seating there is- is very tight fit. Prices are average. Food is very good.
The pizza altogether is good, but the crust lacks flavor. The BLT pizza and the sicilian are really great. The sausage Falcone uses is fantastic!! Sweet and savory with lots of flavor. Ground on the pizza or wrapped in a sausage roll- the sausage is 5 Stars here. The BBQ Chicken pizza and Buffalo chicken pies were tasty. Garlic knots kicked serious a$$ and are very addictive.
I had the eggplant parm sandwich and it was very good. The mussels in marinara were awesome! The red sauce in general is just really delicious-rich full flavor. Chicken caesar salad was also a hit.
I haven't tried it but there menu says they won second place in "Courier News" cheesesteak contest.
