Food is pretty good, classic pub fare. Fish tacos a fave. Service has been less that average on many occasions.  If sitting at the bar, you get the best service, bartenders are friendly and attentive. They need to work on their wait staff to make the overall experience better.

Just OK! Food is very mediochre at best!  If they would concentrate on the food and service as much as they do on the ir alcohol it would be a great local restauarant. BUTTTTTT-------Service was was slow despite how empty it was on a friday afternoon. Typical bar food on a very low level. Will not be returning anytime soon! They certainly need to step it up a notch or two. Fresh is best and it just tasted like everything had been frozen or prepackaged before served! Sorry Finnaughty's but your a thumbs down for me.

This place was ok for lunch for the price until a few months ago.  They reduced the portions and increased the prices.  They have a lot of complaints but have not done anything about it.  My guess would be it is a local rich owner looking to just have a place for them and there friends to hang out and drink.

We came here after going to Mo BBQ and my husband got the Jameson pulled pork sandwich, it was a million times better then my pulled pork from mos! I had the shepherds pie, which was really good, if anything I wish it had more meat and less potatoes. We also had the Irish nachos to start and they were awesome! The service was ok, one waitress that helped us was defiantly better then another one who loudly complained about people who wanted to sit outside on a nice night. Our tv on our both didn't work but overall this is  one of only two restaurants that we have found in Snoqualmie we would go back to!

This was the worst dining experience we have had in a very long time.  We (a hungry party of six, including three children) arrived just before 1pm.  The restaurant was not crowded, despite it being a holiday.  We seated ourselves.  Nobody showed up with a menu for several minutes.  After our drink orders were taken, the kids' drinks (lemonades, soda) showed up long before the adults' (two waters and a diet coke).  The diet coke wasn't diet.

The server was very friendly, but nobody in the restaurant seemed to be able to tell me whether certain dishes were gluten free because they couldn't verify it for all of the spices, dressings, etc.  While I appreciated the honesty, it was very frustrating trying to find something on their menu that I could eat with confidence.  I ended up with the Ploughman's Platter, minus the bangers and bread, so essentially it was 3 slices of deli turkey, a few chunks of cheese, 1/8 cu pickled onions, half an apple, three cherry tomatoes, and 4 cubes of melon for $13.  But that wasn't the worst of it.

Let's rewind.  We sat at our table for close to an hour and a half before our food arrived.  The server kept assuring us that we were next, but we saw people who arrived after us get their food, eat, and leave.  The table next to us, also with kids, was in the same boat.  She brought us a plate of chips with dressing "on the house" but that was little consolation.  (I couldn't even eat them, due to my allergy.)  When the food FINALLY arrived, my husband's (grilled cheese) order was completely wrong and had to be made from scratch and everyone who had ordered chips had fries instead.  (Seems they ran out of chips, having to comp everyone who was waiting forever for their meals.)  The cheese on my plate was covered in lint, dirt, and even hair.  It looked like it had been dropped onto the floor.  I sent it back.  The server took it off of our bill, but that left me with almost no lunch, after sitting there for 90 minutes.

Our bill was wrong.  Kid sodas were supposed to be free but we were charged.  The kids' meals were also supposed to be $1 off with their daily special, but they weren't.  I walked to Taco Del Mar and had lunch in my hands before my husband was done dealing with that disaster.

There seem to be lots of restaurants in Snoqualmie.  Save yourself and choose another one.

****updated**** Tried it today for lunch. May have made some changes. They had the pros working and it was an enjoyable lunch. Went in prepared to turn around and leave if I did not see some faces behind the counter that I knew were capable.

Great place as its the only place within walking distance. Night is the only time to go there. Night staff is super friendly and makes it feel like a neighborhood bar. Avoid music nights if you want to hang out and talk with friends. Venue is far too small for bands and brutally loud. Daytimes are a loss, staff is rude and service is garbage. Food is marginal, at best. Typical fryer based bar food, spun as  being better. Nice layout, very good decor and lots of TVs. Not the best place for Irish bar "purists".....but its not Ireland and most of them are DB's, so that works out fine. A GoldenTee machine would be great there as its near the TPC course. Outside table are nice when the weather is good....again, nights only. You'll die of dehydration waiting for service during the day. Last time I went during the day I had to ask the server for a refill...twice...then walk up to the counter to get my own iced tea from the bartender.

The best bar, the best happy hour & the best live music in Snoqualmie. Servers are so friendly and helpful. Love this place. Hot bartenders are worth the visit....

On the Irish side, it is what it is - I mean, the place is in a contrived suburban village on Seattle's far-eastside, so one can't expect much in terms of legit authenticity.  But part of being such a joint is also providing a cozy enough place with lots of locals enjoying a brew and a game, so it fits that bill just fine.

My problem with it last night (our 3rd time in of the last couple of years) - was that it's just plain crummy, cheap, unimaginative, boring food, not worth half of what is charged, slow service, and a really unnecessarily crabby server.   We were there to participate in the Eastside Fire & Rescue Pipes and Drums fundraiser (so it was oozing Irish in that way, and the guys were great to listen to and watch) - and I guess that I would have thought that the staff would have been a happier gang, because it was a night where they were packed and the cause was noble.  Not so.

Unless it's for the firemen again - there's really no reason to return.

My favorite local bar/restaurant.  Love the fact they have TVs at every booth (great for sports), and really enjoy their menu.

Service could be friendlier (that's my only wish).  Servers haven't been rude, but they just aren't very friendly either (and I usually tip 20%, so that isn't the reason).

I go here frequently. It is my local neighborhood pub at Snoqualmie Ridge and I'm not sure that life would be the same without a place like this nearby.

    Here's my notes:
    - The place is really nice.  I mean, for a bar that has band parties from time to time this place has really nice fixtures and is kept up very well. I like a dive bar like anyone else, but I really appreciate the nice surroundings.
    - This might not apply to you, but it's close to me. I could even walk. There simply isn't any other place to hang out and drink beer on the Ridge, especially since Mike's closed down. Lots of other places I can recommend to go in downtown Snoqualmie, North Bend, or Fall City, but you have to drive a little farther.
    - The food is good for bar food. If you like wings, these are some of the best I've had in the PNW.  The food is slightly pricey, but I think it's fair. Go during happy hour and get the apps for half-price.
    - The owners are very connected to the local community and take the time to get to know those who they see at the restaurant and participate in the discussions on Facebook. They often donate to local events and charities.  The staff gets to know you. I like that.
    - There are multiple TVs on every wall and in every booth. You can always find your game.
    - It is kid friendly during the day.  For a restaurant to survive on Snoqualmie Ridge you have to be kid friendly.  I love that I can go and get a sports bar experience and still tote along my kids on college football Saturday.  At night they close the bar to 21 and over. It's the best of both worlds.  I've been plenty of times without kids during the day and I've never been bothered by other people's kids.
    - Good band parties. They get really fun bands.

    4/14/2013 Update:

Just checkin' in. I still really enjoy Fin's.  I will say for those that are coming for the first time it is on the expensive side. I've talked to many a people at the bar now that have expressed surprise at the prices. I mean, it's not outrageous but it is pricey. As an example a normal draft beer is $6 for anything other than Bud Light.  Most meals and apps are what I'd consider to be about $2 over what I think they should cost.  I typically explain to others that I try to come for happy hour or other specials where the food is a deal.

I am a fan of pubs and this one is close to home and serves beer - but it smells like stale beer too... and the food is not good (except the wings - my husband loves these).  If you are a sports fan there are tons of TVs that you adjust yourself, and the local music is pretty fabulous (if not ridiculously loud - seriously people - go acoustic).

Arriving into a smaller town late on a weeknight limits one's food and entertainment options.  Thanks to the desk at the Salish, we were directed here, the latest-closing kitchen in town.  By the time we arrived, the menu was down to the small plate section of the menu and the clientele was down to attempting drunk pick-ups on the waitresses before last call.

It was pretty much what you'd expect from an Irish pub that was spotlessly clean and looked to be about ninety days old.  The food was adequate quality pub grub (taco tuesdays, sliders, potato skins, dishes cooked with Guinness, etc) but with a few interesting local taps.

The latter would lead indirectly to my favorite spot in town, so I can't judge Finaghty's harshly at all.

If you're looking for a place to grab a lunch or an afternoon beer after seeing the Snoqualmie Falls, this is the place to visit.

This is definitely the place we'll be visiting on our return to the Seattle area.

Laughing at the people who say that if your idea of an Irish pub includes little kids....um, every been to Ireland?  We have and there are kids in all the pubs.  We do bring our baby and with their high tables and booths, it's really limited to one side where kids are at.  TVs in every booth keep them quiet too.

There is NOTHING out this way unless you head to Issaquah, which gets old after awhile.  Finaghty's has simple pub food and it's solid.  We've had a couple of different items, burgers, sandwiches, etc. and it is all good.   Drinks are reasonable, atmosphere is to be expected of a master planned community---you can build it, charm comes with time.

We plan on going more, although I do slightly agree with several of the crappy/slow service comments.

Drinks are good and staff is pretty friendly. Can get busy on the weekends. Seems like a regular crowd that hangs out there. Small community bar where the regulars know each other. Newbies will stick out like a sore thumb, almost like you aren't welcome. Not by staff, just patrons.

Will return because it is a good place to get drinks

Pretty much the only thing open after 9pm on the Ridge.

Their menu includes things from fish and chips, to french dips, to hummus to quick kobe sliders.

They have events on some days like a movie on Monday night or a live band.  At the booths are little flat-screens with direct tv access.  The upper level has a pool table.

If your idea of an Irish Pub includes little kids running around all over the place, then sure. But I've never been to any other "Irish Pub" with about 10 kids there (we were there Thursday evening prior to a show at nearby Snoqualmie Casino). This place had ZERO irish-pub-feel/atmosphere.

The cons don't stop there. No one talked to us for the first 5 minutes we were there, and it wasn't even crowded yet. My dining partner ordered the salad with grilled salmon - it was not grilled salmon, it was smoked salmon (a key difference, for someone trying to cut back on sodium intake). I had the pulled pork sandwich. No real complaints there. It was just ok.

    Not returning.

I know I can't rate it zero stars, but pretend like I can, because it doesn't deserve the lowest possible rating, but in no way does it deserve 2 of 5 stars... 40% positive. I wish this wasn't my only non-dive option in Snoqualmie/North Bend... I'm not opposed to a bit of a dive, but sometimes I just want this place not to be horribly opperated. The facilities are nice, decent beer selection, and it's good for watching sporting events. ...at least until they kick you out, because apparently they don't understand that a football game takes 2 and a half hours, but eating their frozen chicken strips does not. We always bring in at least 6 people, only take up one booth, and we all make orders, but if we're not constantly buying something, we're asked to leave. Waitresses are slow and borderline rude when they're not kicking you out (pushing them into full-on rude mode.) The manager/owner does seem very nice and helpful when she's on the floor, but her staff lacks basic customer service skills. Mostly lazy attempts at food... The menu doesn't SOUND bad, but food is mostly bland and clearly packaged. Absolutely no small town (or Irish pub) feel whatsoever.

Food is a bit more than you'd expect for fare like sandwiches, burgers, etc.  Most of the entrees looked average.  I had their fish and chips which was okay, but to be honest you'd really have to screw up the frying for me to really hate it.  Their fries are really good.  They are crunchy and have this extra kind of ...crunchy texture to it.  I might go back for just the fries.
They do have a lot of televisions around the place.  The booths that I could see also had a small television set into them.  So...if you live in the Snoqualmie area and have your tv break down and you need to watch the game....this would be the place to go

I live on the Ridge, and despite Fin's being the only bar here, it's rare that I find a reason to actually go.  Food is unimpressive, service is relatively poor, about the only positive is that they have Guinness.  Sure it's fun with friends, but we can have fun anywhere.  As others have mentioned, certainly not an Irish pub, not that it matters.

A close bar with moderate food - but a reasonable place to go if you want a nice tap selection.  It being so close I've been there quite a few times so I am pretty familiar with the atmosphere.    If only they could rename their - tini's to cocktails but it's an Irish bar so all is forgiven.   With the revitalization of the classic cocktail the bar staff would do volumes in learning the 'classics'.
The staff is friendly, and it is good as a neighbood bar.

LOL @ the Irish Bar snobs. Get over yourself. We (me, wife, year old son and niece) came in for lunch after going up Rattlesnake Ridge and we enjoyed ourselves. First off, the sevice was great, the girls handled our two mess/ noise makers with ease and kept our glasses full. We had potato skins( Top notch, fresh) for an appetizer, I had the fish wrap (good) wife had the mac n cheese ( she said she liked it) and kids kept busy on french fries( VERY good).  The place is very cool inside, every booth has a flat screen, tall booths and an outside area. Is it the best food in the world? Nah. Is it a hard core Irish bar? Nope. Is it a nice place to have lunch or drinks? Sure is.

What: random after dinner snacks & drinks.
    When: last September
Who: with my cousin and his friend.

The stars are for their CRAB MAC AND CHEESE. It's sooooooooooooooooooooo goooooooooooooooooodddddddddddddddd.

I never knew crab went with mac & cheese! It's not very irish pub like, but SO GOOD.

    Yum.

I sat outside on a semi-quiet night.  It seemed the usual 'regulars' where there, and my wife and I ordered a Guiness and Hummus.  Totally didn't like the appetizer (very spicy all around) and they didn't have any regular soda to serve.  I didn't see much in the way of Irish except the usual 'fad' menu items and some Guiness.  Probably not the worse place for a local bar, but not high on the Irish Pub scale.  A McSorely's Ale House it is not.

Ok, OK. The place is light on the Oirish. So, let's reset the expecations a bit - on the location and its food and drinks. If I could give a 1/2 star I would make it a 3.5.

Ambience: The place is a pub, a-la Snoqualmie, if you like. The back bar is carved and beautiful from top to bottom with mirrors in back. Yes, the TVs are somewhat out of the usual for a traditional pub, but this is Seattle and it is not out of line with other places that call themselves Irish (e.g., see downtown Renton). The place is small, often crowded, and has a very neighborhood feel. If you are coming here from the city, visit the Falls and then come here for good meal. Don't expect to be greeted by a true Irish experience.

Drink and Food: This is why you came. The place has a good variety of beers, including Guiness and some other pub traditionals. There are bottled micros. The liquor is consistent with what you find most places. As for the whisky, there is more Scotch and Irish, though they have been building the inventory.

The food is good, not gourmet. Try the mac 'n cheese for a very buttery bowl of the stuff. The shepherd's pie is OK, though I prefer lamb and this is just beef. The ploughman's has a good variety of cheese. Their soda bread is very good.

Overall, this is a neighborhood watering hole with decent food and drink. If you want a cultural experience, what the hell are you doing in Snoqualmie? I live here...come on...

    What he said. ^^^

This place is an utter joke. That is unless you don't know what an Irish Bar is supposed to really be like.
