Sip does not disappoint as far as wine bars go. I really liked the ambiance, the manager came to our table a few times to see how we were doing and chatted with us for a bit which was a nice personal touch, the staff was also very helpful and friendly. The wine was great. My only complaint is that there were not many vegetarian options on the menu. I would have loved to see a few main dishes on the menu for vegetarians, but most were meat related dishes.
Also, if you own/run a wine bar I think it is a sin not to have a Cab Franc on your menu.
Overall great place to hang out, we will go again.
This was a really nice surprise.....I noticed this was on the list of Passport Members and figured why not give it a try. Â We were both EXTREMELY surprised how nice it was inside and how big it actually is. Â Parking is lot and street; somewhat busy on Friday. Â The Menu is varied, descriptive and a little pricey. Â The Wine Lists are all on iPads for each table and very extensive, though prices are rather fair. Â We met friends who were late 30 min so we socialized with the waiter who was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. Â Every appetizer and entree ordered were excellent!! Â I will be back and will bring more friends next time. Â I left a star off because the prices on some dishes exceed Bellevue upscale restaurants and that doesn't make sense to me.
