Andy makes this place what it is.......a classy, well put-together, high-end bar to meet friends at and have some good Chinese while you're at it.  I laugh, as it's a complete opposite environment from the Mandarin Garden next door, which is a visual dump.

I still believe that Andy makes the best martinis I've ever had, which is amazing, considering the number of martinis that I drink. :)

Gents, there is no easier way to be the hero of the house... Just stop by to get some take-out so the wife doesn't have to cook.  BUT don't call ahead, sit down at the bar and enjoy a couple drinks first.  Andy, the owner, is a great guy and make everyone feel so welcome!

This is also a great place for a date or a get together with friends.  One of my favorite places in Issaquah.

I love this place!  It's the adult half of Mandarin Garden.  Excellent service and conversation from Andy, the owner, beautiful Chinese furniture in various seating arrangements (as opposed to just booths in the attached family restaurant), a fireplace, a piano (which I have yet to hear played), and great food on top of all that.

Sit at the bar, or choose from tall tables, low tables, large tables (complete with turn-table for family style Chinese dining), small tables or couches.  The room isn't huge, but it's got lots of options without being crowded.  

It's great for an after work beverage and snack, and I love watching the news rather than sports (which is also on some of the TVs).  It is quite chill and relaxed with a classy feel.  I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more business in here, but we usually end up going on weekdays.  Andy is open from 4pm until 10pm.
