Some friends I were looking for a way to kill some time one afternoon, which lead us to this place. Although the outside appearance seemed a little bit sketchy, this spot ended up being a ton of fun.
You wouldn't expect it from the outside, but the inside is filled with a plethora of large flat screen TVs displaying just about every sporting event you could want to watch. It also appeared that there was some restaurant type of seating in the back. My girls and I opted for a game of darts and some drinks. I have to say that I could not believe how cheap the darts game was - maybe because I never play darts? We put $5 into the machine and it ended up being 20 credits. That got us two games of 301 and one game of 501, all between 3 people. We still had credits left over after that, but decided we wanted to move onto pool, which ended up being only $0.75/game. Crazy cheap! There's also a machine on the wall that will exchange your dollar bills for quarters.
Service was great and we happened to be here during Happy Hour, which is M-F 3PM - 7PM, meaning half off apps. At $4 for an order of jalapeno poppers, it was really reasonable. For the appetizer, a vodka cranberry, and an electric iced tea (fancy long island), I paid just under $20 before tip. I've definitely been to way worse places and this was a lot of fun for a dive, so I'm sure I'd be back if I find myself in the area again with nothing to do. The intoxicated old guys are a hoot, too!
