Firehouse Subs

Jay- I'm sorry your experience at Firehouse Subs was not satisfactory. We had opened in June, and it seems your visit was about a month after. Since then, we have had a lot of changes. The GM at the time you visited, is gone, as well with a lot of employees who were just not cut out for it. Since then, we have solidified our staff and they have a better grip on the menu.
You are completely correct, it should not have been such a big deal-  as Firehouse subs is happy to make any sub you request, the way you request it. I am sorry that we did not oblige to your suggestions.
We do have cold subs available and are happy to make your subs all cold- if requested. I wipe down the hot sauce and BBQ bottles every other day I close, now. Thank you for your comment about that, we will make sure that those bottles stay clean and wiped down.
I, personally, do not think we are very pricey. Our medium sub has a quarter pound of meat on it, you can get all the dressings extra and pile on as many onions,pickles, banana peppers, ect... or tomatoes you want for no additional cost. The large size has half a pound of meat on it. We fresh slice our meat every morning, and roll the meat into 2oz and 4oz portions to ensure that each sub gets the same, and accurate amount of meat.
I hope that maybe in the future, you will choose to stop by and see us once again. If you would call our store and contact a manager, I am sure we would love to replace your meal.
When you show your I.D On your birthday you get a free sub!
Also,we like to say "Our way beats there way or it's free". If you do not like your sub, PLEASE tell us. We will gladly replace it or give you your money back.
My favorite sub is a toss up between the club and the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket with Bacon and onions on it. :) VERY GOOD STUFF.

Won't be back. Counter staff although friendly had no idea what they were doing. All subs were hot and no cold subs were available. Asked for a salami sub for the daughter instead of what they had, should have not been such a big deal. Ended up with a turkey kids sub. Could it have been that hard to put some salami on in instead of turkey and called it a turkey sub? they had a ton of different types of hot sauces and BBQ sauces. Great idea, but the execution was terrible. All the bottles were sticky, full of sauces and really needed a wipe down. Kinda gross. The subs were adequate, but nothing special, a bit spendy and unfortunately, we would have been better off at subway.
