The Fishin' Pig

We had a great time last night. The late night menu was terrific- fish bites, chicken toes, fried green tomatoes, and all. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere, and the back room looks like it's going to be a great addition to the place when it's fully set up. Great place to spend time with friends. Looking forward to checking out the barbecue sometime.

This would get four stars for Farmville. But based on all the other food options in the world, this just got 3 stars. Not a huge fan of whatever they fry everything in, but it's an interesting southern atmosphere and a good little spot if you're around Farmville. Rather go here than Applebees or somewhere like that.

Looking forward to some country cooking, I stopped by The Fishin' Pig for dinner last week.  I ordered the fried green tomatoes and the crab cake dinner.

The Fried green tomatoes were left over and refried.  The crab cakes were much more cake than crab.  I'll give them another try, but no rave reviews from me.
