Fleegle's Pizza

If you happen to be driving through this stretch of rural Pennsylvania--maybe you are trying to get from Bedford to Johnstown--you will find this corner with two pizza joints.

Actually, you may only see one pizza joint, because Fleegle's is tucked away inside the gas station. But they make their own dough, are generous with toppings, and it is by far the better of the two options in the immediate area.

Hands down.

They will also take all of their vegetables and roll them up into a vegetable stromboli for you city folks who might not be so keen on industrially produced pepperoni and deli ham. Just don't come in a rush if you are looking for a whole pie or two. A few orders and the system gets overwhelmed.

Still, it's worth the wait. You really don't want to go to the pizza place across the way.
