Slick's Ivy Stone Restaurant

This is a good place for "Country style home cooking". My review is solely based on the Friday night fish fry. For $10.95 you get all you care to eat fried fish (haddock) as well as one side, and a giant (olive garden style) salad with a basket of different breads. The fish itself may not be the most amazing fish you have ever had, but for the price it's crispy and delicious.

The decor of this place is pretty cool. They have antiques hanging on the walls, and all the waitresses are dressed in a little house on the prairie style dress. The wait staff is really friendly, and they try to make you feel as if your eating in your own home.

Overall it's a cool place to check out for the experience of "country style" dining. On the weekends you might need to expect a wait...even though it's a big Restaurant people line up to get in, and the parking lot fills up. Check this place out... It's a hidden little private owned gem on the back roads of South Central Pennsylvania.

Had easter dinner here with the family.  Family style service, large bowls of potatoes, turkey, veggies, bread etc.  If your looking for cutting edge cuisine this is not the place for you, but if you want good, down-home cooking reminiscent of the way grandma used to do it, check out this quaint little joint.
