Fleming's Steakhouse is a wonderful place to go for your wedding anniversary dinner! They started us off with a complimentary glass of champagne, which was delicious! My scallops were flavorful and tender and my husband's steak and salmon duo was perfectly cooked. Our molten lava cake was perfectly topped with their chantilly lace whipped cream. Our waitress took a picture of us and then presented us with a framed copy of it to take home, along with a beautifully boxed set of 4 truffles, again, all complimentary. There are many steakhouses with great menu selections, but for a special evening, Fleming's little extra special touches really made them stand out!

Wonderful. Took my Girlfriend Sally Gorges, yes Gorges! It was for her Birthday.  She can be hard to please.  But thanks to Tatiana who made this a special night for us!  The prime rib dinner was superb!  Our waitress Marissa was also wonderful.  This Desert isn't always my pick for a dining experience. I'd heard about Flemings Steakhouse but thought it was just another steakhouse.  But they are at the Top of my list!  Can't wait to bring my Family.  Great Prime Rib and dessert to die for!  You don't mind paying more when the food and quality service is worth it!

Thank  you Tatiana, you made this a special day. The food is excellent but it's  a person as nice as you that make it even better!

There are a few excellent classic Steakhouses in the Palm Springs area, Flemings is not one of them. You will pay the same expensive amount but the food and service are not worth it. Unfortunately our waiter "Oscar" was either new or clueless and his ability to ensure proper service was substandard. The steaks were basic and not worth the price. This establishment does not compare to the real high end steakhouses in the area. I did speak with the GM Patrick and respectfully told him about my bad experience. He listened and looked at me with a confused glare stating, "Sorry".

Management contacted me regarding the incident and apologized. Just wanted to say thanks for the concern and follow up.

Well, first the waiter over-poured wine filling the glasses way up and spilling wine on the table.  Then there was a long wait before the salad came, and 5 minutes after the salad was served the water shows up with the steaks and we were just starting the salads so we had to hold up our salad plates so he could serve the steaks.  My steak was way over done - barely pink and I ordered medium rare.  My friend ordered the same steak and doneness and his was fine. I sent mine back and for "punishment" I received a steak that was done properly but was purposely over-salted so it could not be eaten, and I like salt so I mean WAY over-salted.   There are steak houses that know how to cook and serve so why go here for expensive punitive treatment?

    Food is ok

I have been here twice now and both times the food was ok.  The flavor was bland and steak and lobster was over cooked...had to have them take it back.  Delayed dinner.

Just go for drinks on the patio and order an,appetizer...happy hour.

    Great atmosphere

    Nice servers

What a turd.  If you are used to good steak houses, going here is going to piss you off.  The steaks and wine are good, but everything else is very average.  It looks and feels like a fancy sizzler.  And the food presentation, according to my husband, is almost cafeteria like.    Our sides were puny and served in chipped dishes.  And our appetizer and presentation there was very average.  I just saw that there was a maestros nearby and for the money we spent, now I'm really annoyed.  Definitely not worth the money.

We received a promotional voucher to come in...split a prime rib meal (salad, entree & dessert), brought our own wine and received excellent service and got out of there under $30. Food was excellent!

Our dinner plans changed so we ended up here after not wanting to wait somewhere else. Big mistake!  We decided to order small plates so we could have more of a selection. I ordered the ahi tuna and lamb chops. My wife ordered scallops and my kid had spaghetti. The lamb chops actually tasted good but were just over cooked. The problem was the mint concoction that was on the plate. The best way to describe it is mint horse crap with uncooked beans in it. The ahi was like rubber and my kid says the spaghetti is hard like its not cooked. The scallops apparently tasted just ok. For the outrageous prices they should have at least decent food. I'm completely disgusted and will have to see if I get really sick tonight from the food. This place sucks. Don't go here!!!

Fleming's left my husband and I speachless! He took me there for my birthday dinner and our expectations were far exceeded. We will definitely be back to this place for our anniversary and his birthday as well. The complimentary appetizer of fresh bread and feta cheese spreads were a great way to start the night. Instead of salad we got the french onion soup and WOW. For our entrees we had the surf and turf with a petit filet mignon and lobster tail. The filet was the BEST filet I have ever had. We even had to get to-go boxes due to the generous portions. If you're looking for an amazing dinner, go here.

Everyone loves the Happy Hour, 5-7pm. The burger is the big draw, because they only charge $6 instead of their usual $14, and it's really high quality and delicious. The other Happy Hour food is good too, and the $5 Syrah and $5 Cab blend were both eminently drinkable.

The other night I did go for a full dinner at friend's birthday party. Generally, steak houses can be a rip off. People go to stuff themselves on overly rich fried or creamy appetizers and sides, like calamari and spinach artichoke dip and baked potatoes crushed by butter and sour cream. By the the time they get to their steak, they're too full to appreciate it. And I can't even watch people trying to down 22 ounces of steak without programming the local ER on my iPhone fav list just in case.

I didn't fall prey to the junk, and waited patiently for my rib eye. Blissfully, It was outstanding! Really beautifully seasoned and cooked. As good as the Happy Hour is, this was something special.

Word of warning: the markup on wine is very high--at least triple. So you may want to bring your own. We brought in several nice bottles of $50 wine that would have been $150-165 on their wine list. So even after paying the steep $25 corkage fee on each, it was a better deal overall.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with my family.  The Fleming's potatoes were perfect and the Ceasar salad was excellent.  My New York steak did not arrive as ordered, but they more than made up for it, comp'd my steak and a glass of vino.  The new steak they brought me was perfect and the extra order of Fleming's potatoes were good for lunch today.

We'll definitely be returning to celebrate more good times.

I have been to many premium steakhouses all over the U.S. and Canada, so I think I can write a fairly legitimate review of this place. I have never been to a Flemings, but this will have been my one and only visit. We started with a glass of Red Wine, which must have only been a 3 oz poor, maybe less in looking at the glass. I thought the $16 glass of wine was much more expensive than a similar glass at a Ruth's Chris or other large chain Steakhouse. We ordered a shrimp cocktail appetizer and got 5 VERY small previously frozen shrimp with no flavor. These were like the 22-24 per lb type of shrimp. I ordered a 20 oz bone in ribeye which was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The sides of mushrooms and asparagus were very salty and very average. The service was on par with a Applebee's not a high end steakhouse. Disappointing from all aspects with exception of the steak itself.

A friend & I dined this evening for the first time & I am so glad we did! Starting with the excellent service (Francisco), delicious French onion soup, my couldn't get enough they were so good Crab Legs, my friend had a Filet, cooked exactly how she ordered it, 3 sides,a  bottle of champagne & than the desserts chosen by Our Fabulous Server...Wow! Can't wait to go back! Thank you Francisco & Flemings for a Great Night!

Went there for anniversary. We were seated immediately. Our Server Francisco was knowledgable about the menu and checked on us regularly. Our wine glasses were filled as they emptied and this was a Saturday night. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the Flemings potatoes were flavorful with a deliciously browned crust. Their lava cake is te best one I have ever had. At the end of the meal they wished us happy anniversary again and presented my wife with a box of truffles.  Expect to drop a few bucks, but very very good. Thanks for a great evening!

This is for their happy hour. so awesome!!

$6 for their usual $14 prime rib burger. thick juicy meat, 2 slices of bacon, moist fluffy bun, lettuce, tomato...onion ring with a yummy dipping sauce with a slightly spicy/tangy kick. yum!!

tenderloin carpaccio: delicious! the crispy bread just by itself was great. but with the thinly sliced meat and the basil...mmmmmmm....

their sweet chili calamari was suprisingly good. a little sweet, but crispy and a great deal for just $6!!

besides those they have a few other appetizers, 5 cocktails, 5 wines, all for 6 bucks. what a deal.

This place means well, but they can't cook a steak.  Both times that I have ordered a steak medium-rare it has come to the table well-done.  Yeah, they take it back, but seriously, get it together!

Great Food, especially during the weekdays late night. You can have restaurant to yourself and attention. Their desserts are absolutely GREAT. I like the cajun shrimp just ask for them not to drench in too much wine, then it kills the good flavor, Lobster is on point and steaks is what you should be getting.

My boyfriend took me here for dinner as a surprise. The hostess was very pleasant; she greeted us with a smile and accommodated our preference to sit at an intimate booth. The booth faced the kitchen, which was semi-visible across an aisle and over a large counter, where the food is placed once it is ready to be taken to a customer. We loved being seated here, because we were able to watch the chefs go about the kitchen, as well as salivate to the passing plates which looked as good as they smelled.

The waitress offered us a wine menu, which I asked to try two different wines. She gladly brought us both glasses to taste, and when I didn't like either, it was no problem to bring me a different glass.

As we waited for an appetizer, my boyfriend kept asking for bread refills, and they just kept bringing it!- it did not seem as though they had a limit per table.

We ordered an appetizer of carpaccio, which was phenomenal! For our main course my boyfriend ordered the filet mignon and to my disappointment, they pulled my favorite dish from their menu: the seared ahi tuna. I asked the waitress if they recently changed the menu, and she said they took the tuna off as a main dish and re-created it as one of their "small plates," but assured me it was just as good. She was right.

The waitress chatted with us a little bit, (as my boyfriend and I engage in conversation with everyone), and she asked us if there was a specific occasion in which we were celebrating.  My boyfriend looked at me and very innocently answered, "just celebrating our existence." I couldn't stop laughing and neither could the waitress.  When we asked for our bill, the waitress returned with a beautifully presented box of four chocolate truffles! She said, "this is on the house in honor of celebrating your existence." It was a wonderful experience.

Food gets 4 stars, and service gets 1 star... less, if it were an option.

My friends and I wanted to have a great steak house experience, and made reservations well in advance.  Two of us arrived a bit early, and settled in at the bar for a cocktail.  The other two arrived a bit early, and the four of us were seated in the dining room.  There ends the good service on this night.

One of our guests knew about the Prix Fixe menue, and asked for it.  At the same time, another guest asked for another round of fresh bread.  15 minutes later, neither had arrived, and the excuses began.

When we ordered, we also each ordered a glass of wine.  When three of our wines were delivered, the fourth guest was informed that his choice was not available by the glass.  He referred to the menu again, and informed the server that his selection does, indeed, have a per-glass price tag.  She brought his wine.

After our meals were served by runners, our server stopped by once to check in, but otherwise ignored us when our plates were emptied.  We waited more than 20 minutes for her to take our dessert order... something that was on the Prix Fixe menu, and then only after one of our group got up to ask someone to find her.  Then, when dessert was finished, we had to again find her.  By this time, maybe 1/3 or 1/4 of the tables were occupied, and there was not excuse for ignoring us.

All-in-all, we arrived for our 7:30 reservation on time, and got out of there at 10:45.  That's 3 hours, 15 minutes.  Luckily for us, we were all having fun talking with one another.  But at least 5 other tables arrived after us and left before us.

The food was very good, although the chocolate turtle cake was just so-so.

It was a largely disappointing evening, and the management seemed not to care one bit.  Considering the amount of money we plunked down that evening, we deserved better.

There are plenty of steak houses in the Coachella Valley, and we will certainly try another one next time.

Fabulous on all parts! There were five of us and the "River Mall" was packed. It was spring break, everyone was there for dinner. We were told there was an 1 1/2 hour wait at Babe's BBQ even thought they had over 10 open tables and no reservations.
Flemings said it would be a 20-30 minute wait but it only took about 8 minutes.
They have a kids menu and the kids were very happy. The service was amazing! Everyone that was working on April 3rd was lovely and went above and beyond with perfect customer service.
The food was delicious, the water and drinks were always full. The seats, lighting, noise level, all perfect!
I would go back again and will go to other locations for sure.
Thank you to everyone at Flemings in Rancho Mirage for a perfect meal and wonderful staff!

Dined here 3/29.  Went with the $35 filet and lobster, lamb chop small plate, iceberg wedge, calamari, mashed potatoes and a bottle of wine.  Wine list expensive and uncreative with too many cabs not enough others.  Had to send lamb back (underdone), lobster was, well, frozen would be my guess, not good would be my opinion, mashed potatoes fair, wine expensive, price of food other than special high, service absolutely terrible.  Our waiter had no idea about much of anything, my guess is he's normally a busboy.  Didn't see him much.  Just as well.

$180 for three people and both food and service was pathetic.  Will not be coming back here ever.  The one in Neport Beach is ok, with excellent service but last couple of times food just average.

    I'm so done with Flemings.

We celebrated our 23rd anniversary here tonight.  What a wonderful evening!!

We enjoy Fleming's and the Sunday prime rib dinner special they offer.   You can't beat it.  Starts off with your choice of a salad, a generous slice of prime rib, a side dish and dessert. You're not given small portions of anything. Great value for the money spent. Everything is always delicious. The service is always top notch. It's becoming our favorite "go to", and not just for special events.

Some months they offer the prime rib dinner special for only $29.99.
Be sure you become a 'friend of Flemings' so you get their emails. They'll send you information about their monthly specials.

When our dessert was served, they also brought us an anniversary card which was signed by the manager and all the wait staff.  Included in the card was a $25.00 gift certificate.  WOW!!!!  What a surprise!

As we were enjoying our chocolate lava cake dessert, the waitress brought us a box of Fleming's chocolate truffles.  Another wow!!  We haven't eaten them yet because we are too full. They look rich and delicious.

You cant go wrong at Fleming's!!

One of the more smallish Fleming's around, so it can get a little crowded during season. This is especially true in the bar during their happy hour which, by the way, is a great deal ... $6 specials.

I am a gin guy, not a vodka guy, and certainly not a fruity drink guy, but for some unknown reason I was drawn to the $6 99-calorie vodka raspberry martini (maybe it is my growing waistline?). Fantastic stuff! I could have had another ... but I didn't.

The $6 prime burger with cheese and bacon is truly terrific. Ordered it medium and it came out a bit more towards med-well, but I'll forgive them. It still was juicy.

The worst thing about this joint: it is at The River. I'm not a fan of The River during season ... parking hell.

    Cold food!
Waiter forgot our appetizer. After 20 minutes, brought cold flimsy and soggy crab cakes. Didn't taste bad, but cold, and I've had better at other places.
Two bites from the crab cake plate, the rest of our dinner comes in. WTF?
I advised assistant to please take back and place under heat while we finish the appetizer.
Later, the filet mignon skewers, and half-and/half is served.
Of course, also cold. Meat is tender, but on the warm luke side.
Fries and onion rings are cold and soggy.
Is it good food? Not for this type of restaurant. By the way, I'm a VIP with Open Table, so we eat out a lot. Will I try this place again? Maybe.

Now flemmings isn't the best steak I've had (that is reserved for Wolfgang puck cut), but they are continuously, consistently good! I've never had to send a meal back, drinks are brought out prompt and service is ALWAYS great!
We went this past weekend before a concert down at Aqua Caliente and had to dine and dash (not literally), but we had a little over an hour for 10 people to eat, drink and be merry! We ate, full appatizers, meals and drinks in an hour. I really recommend the steak house salad, it really is that good. It's hearty and probably a heart attack in a salad (oh well)! Their lobster tempura is mmmm good as is their sea food tower!

Went on a Sunday night and the place was packed. [Side note: if you have a reservation, allow time for parking and walking. We parked on the other side of the mall. They have valet, but it's almost as far from Fleming's as our parking space.)

We got a huge banquette booth near the wine room, overlooking the room. Service was very good. Our server was on top of things, but the staff seemed to work well together so everyone pitched in to bring food or bus our table.

We started with Manhattans made with Makers Mark. The vermouth they use must be rough, because the Manhattans had a rough edge to them. We each had a glass of wine with our steak, though, and each was quite good.

The Sunday prime rib special is what brought us here, and that's what we each ordered. I started with the Fleming's salad, which I enjoyed. It wasn't overdressed, and the lime-basil vinaigrette was nice. The bf got a good Caesar salad. The anchovies were served on the side, and when he ate the last one before the rest of the salad was gone, our server was quick to offer more. The bf joked to me that a second order of anchovies should be illegal for health reasons; still, it was a nice gesture and attention to detail on our server's part.

The prime rib was delicious. It came with a seasoned crust and may have been marinated or tenderized. It was cooked properly according to our preference (medium for me, medium rare for him), which hasn't been the case at other steakhouses in the area. My side of green beans was fresh, with a mix of mushrooms (not all shiitake, but all were good).

Dessert was a pretty well-executed creme brulee for me (not too egg-y) and a berry sorbet for him that was bursting with flavor. A bowl of chantilly was placed on the table for both of us, but neither of us needed it with our dessert.

We had a perfectly pleasing meal here.

2.19.11: What is a bachelorette party without showing off our HandMade Tank Tops? A fancy dinner is how we rolled. We arrived about 15-20 earlier than our reservation time. However, they were really nice about the early arrival. They were pretty full but in the end they were able to accommodate us in about 5 minutes. Flemings had a prix fix 3 course menu for $39.99 what a great deal but I was not feeling well. So instead of taking advantage of their prix fix menu I ordered their Double Breast Chicken with Wine Sauce and Mushrooms. I ate about two pieces and my stomach pain was preventing me from eating anymore. However with those two bites I have to say it was really well prepared and tasty. I was quite surprise how good Chicken can taste. Also I had a taste of my friend's Ribeye, that was delicious too. I need to come back when I'm feeling better.

Overall the service was good, and a great place for special occasions.

A buddy and I had dinner there on a Sunday night. The earliest reservation for a deuce was 8PM. We got there 30 min. early to have a drink before dinner and was seated immediately. The place had about 7 open tables.
Both of us had Filets and they came out okay. The baked potato was huge and tasty. We agreed that the wedge salad was weak. We both had call liquor and the drinks were pretty weak, and mine was on rocks. I didn't think you could put that many ice cubes in a glass, but then again they were the smallest ice cubes I have ever seen. My drink was all ice and maybe half an ounce of scotch. The service was not very good. It took a while to get any server to pay attention to our needs.
Overall I was disappointed in the experience. I have had much better meals at Flemings

Congratualtions Flemings, you've earned the distinction of providing the most sullen, angry & hateful service we've ever encountered.

We were craving some good red wine, had dined there before so we wandered in looking forward to a few of their wine flights or a nice bottle of wine.  It was a packed night, but we found two seats at the end of the bar.

Our affected bartender was a whirling-dervish of negative energy, repeatedly throwing silverware & plates with forceful clangs, complaining loudly, sullen & bitter.  Too bad he didn't spend any of that energy giving service, and when he did move near us he knocked my wine glass over and flung a straw that landed in my wife's lap (not once, but twice!). Lack of service paid dividends in this instance as my wine glass was empty.

In all our years of going out, we've never witnessed such a bizarre display in a restaurant or bar.   At least he kept us from spending more money at Flemings that evening.....or ever again.

They missed it on service... it was atrocious.  Maybe, it's because there were a lot large parties.  It just seemed like the waitstaff was absent.  The busboy kept taking by knife and never got me another one...  I had appetizers... my knife disappeared.  I had a wedge, which was pretty goood...  but, I had to steal knives off of another table.   Opppss... shit, Here is my entree...where is my the knife again.  No busboy, no waiter, and no knife.  It was a cruel joke, right?

The food is always good.  The lack of service was inexcusable.

All of this doesn't come cheap.. Four of us dined and had a 2 drinks.. $385.00... and we didn't have that good of a time.  Thanks a lot Mr Fleming...

One of the best meals that I have ever had at one of my favorite restaurants around. The food was awesome and my steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare. The staff was attentive but not annoying (manager stopped by the table to greet me by name, which was very cool!). Wine selection was great also.

My only complaint is that it was a little noisy, however it was a packed house so I cant really expect anything different.

Expensive but worth it....Cant wait to go back!!!

Debated 4 stars, but really they delivered on all fronts for us for what we went for, which was Happy Hour.  They came through on:

Atmosphere: bar was packed but they offered the patio overlooking the fountains & good live music, around a firepit and under cozy heaters. Very comfortable.

Service: treated like devoted repeat customers & it was our first time in and for Happy Hour.  To a one, each was efficient and friendly, attentive and conversational if you engaged him. The restaurant offers Happy Hour and the staff serve these customers graciously.  It's appreciated.

Food: Very good.  The Sweet Chili Calamari (HH $6) with its barely-there batter was very tender. Our blue cheese & pepper bacon Prime Burgers (HH $6) were nicely presented with impressive onion rings and fresh toppings on the side.

Drink: I had the HH Australian Syrah (HH $6/glass).  Not the most extraordinary I've tasted but I didn't expect that.  It was good.

Value:  Really, how can you beat $6 for each of the above?  In a comfortable atmosphere with top-notch friendly service?  We didn't test them with a full meal or dishes or wine we'd want experienced recommendations for, but the value of this dining experience was what I hope restaurants offer when they want to hook people with appies & drinks so that they know they're on the list for a full dinner when we want one. I don't know what else I'd desire for a Happy Hour.

Well done, Flemings!  You're on our dinner list.  Thanks!

We had our partner retreat in Palm Desert and 20 of us came here for dinner. I ordered bone in rib eye along with mashed potatoes and cream of spinach for sides.

I thought the rib eye was salty. I usually order the bone in fillet and it never come seasoned with salt and pepper. I was kind of taken back. I don't remember having rib eye seasoned ...... hmmmm, maybe too many drinks.

The service was very good and handled 20 of us very well.

After enjoying a 3-course meal during a taping for Gordon Ramsay's 7th season of Hell's Kitchen, I can genuinely say that Fleming's is dishing out crap for filet. Well, "crap" may be too harsh. It was better than Le Vallauris, at the very least.

It still surprises me that chain restaurants can be so unpredictable. I've been to several Fleming's (Pasadena, San Diego, El Segundo) and the result has always been a nice solid 4.

It was the brownest rare steak I've ever seen. The center was pink and warm, way too well done for my liking. I would've sent it back, but we had a party of 60 so forgiveness was easily granted. Plus, I had knocked back about 4 Grey Goose dirty martinis by then so I was happy as a clam.

My in-law's had a gift certificate so we headed to Fleming's for dinner.  It's a small chain but there isn't one in Chicago.  I was excited to try the restaurant after hearing many good things from my in-laws.  They have good taste.

The service was just mediocre.  Although we had a reservation, we had to wait for nearly 20 minutes for a table.  Once we were seated, the service was a little slow through out the meal.  The server was kind enough to exchange the glass of white wine that he recommended for another when my Mother-in-law said she didn't enjoy it.

I was disappointed when I ordered a vodka gimlet.  I asked if they had Rose's Lime Juice.  Sadly, they only had fresh.  Seriously, a vodka gimlet NEEDS Rose's.  It wasn't take off the bill.

The food was good but it wasn't mind blowing.  Would I go back?  Sure, if  someone else is paying.  Otherwise, I would rather try somewhere with a  more exciting menu and better service.
