I would agree with Charles R. In that the food is awful.  Iceberg salad on a 6" plate with about a 1/4 cup of dressing saturating it and carrot shavings and 2 grape tomatoes.  Chicken parm was a chopped and formed cutlet, filled with gristle and filler and topped with a ketchupy and black pepper tasting purée.  Cheap pasta overcooked with more of the red paste.  The iced tea isn't fresh brewed. No Equal for sweetener.  Nobody at my table liked their food.  Service at bar and our waitress were fine.  It's just the food that was awful.

Not a fancy "4", but the quality and service are A-ok!  Pete's spicy calamari dish is the appetizer to try for sure.  My piece of salmon was great, although the green beans were way overcooked, but I think it was on purpose, not a "one off dish".

My husband loved his Italian dishes he ordered BOTH nights we were there: chicken parmesan and the Italian sampler platter and loved it all.  Don't skip out on dessert either.  The Reese's cup pie and the fried ice cream sundae are still in my dreams (we were on vacation, so we totally splurged).

Each time we went, our servers were personable, down to earth and friendly.  The views of sunset from this place are unreal!

Can't wait to go back next year.

You come here for the view and the convivial atmosphere, not for a gourmet experience. There isn't a ton of competition up here, however, so they do a decent job given the crazy turnover.

Wings are not as good as they used to be. A bit undercooked. Pizza falls flat now, too, which was surprising. Chicken and Eggplant part are still solid bets.

KITCHEN AND WAITSTAFF ARE OVERWHELMED almost every day so service is not the most attentive and it takes quite a while. So if you have little kids, either order something for them ahead of being seated and/or bring some crayons.

    Rating Scale:
1 Star: Avoid the town in which this place is located just to be safe.
2 Star: With so many great places to choose from, why risk this one?
3 Star: I'll try it again or consume here in a pinch.
4 Star: I go here regularly if financially and/or calorically feasible.
5 Star: I look forward to taking my wife or friends here.

Located between Clayton and A-Bay this is by far the best option for a nice sit down down dinner. The dining room which is located in the back past the bar has a nice atmosphere with a phenomenal view of the St Lawrence River. My wife and I went here for our anniversary and were not disappointed. They have a decent wine selection with some good NY state wines, and standard bottled beers. We had scallops wrapped in bacon, and the lobster bisque for starters, followed by teriyaki glazed salmon and the veal attilio (breaded veal served with eggplant). The appetizers and veal dish were good, the salmon was exceptional not over cooked, huge piece, and the glaze was delicious. With the meal we had a bottle of wine and the total was around $100 which is hard to beat. If you're in the Thousand Islands region and you want a more upscale dining experience this is as close as you're going to get, head and shoulders above any other restaurant we've tried on the river. Would it be 5 stars in NYC? Probably not. Is it 5 star dining right on the river? You better believe it, enjoy!

We used to love this place.  Food was great.  Now they've cut way back on the menu, and food was underwhelming.  New owners or chef ???  Very sad.

nice view of the river and that is it! Food tastes like its fallen off the back of the Sysyco truck, I dont think anything is home made. If it is, then the cook/owner needs help!  iceberg lettuce salad and carrot shavings. nothing and I mean nothing special here except the view and you can go there by boat. If your expectations are low then you wont be disappointed. Busy here during the summer and parking can be an issue.

We love foxy's. It's friendly and lively and always full of locals and visitors. Has old school bowling in the bar. On the water w beautiful view. The food is always reliably great. Pizza and apps are the best. Reasonably priced for tasty specials. Key lime pie was the yummiest!!
