  We visited 6/17/2013, the wait time was good, great views! But the food is overpriced, and we my son asked for salt and pepper fish, the waitress said, the cooks are really busy tonite, I doubt they would do that. How hard is it to sprinkle salt and pepper on food. My husband had green beans with his shrimp, they were hardly cooked and in a weird sauce. Probably won't be going back for the price, and not being able to get what you want.

  Good food, okay service.  Had fried shrimp and fish - cooked well.  Service was friendly, but another server had to notice we were low on beverages and bring another round.  Apparently run by the same folks that own Provisions - nice step up (never a huge fan of Provisions, too limited a menu).

  If you go to this restaurant, you go for the view. The view is BEAUTIFUL.
  
  Aside from the view, there is no reason to go here. The food is sub-par at best. It's a weird mismatch between location/view and the actual building looking impressive and like it's going to be upscale/nice, and the food being pretty much dinery at best. My family went here on our night out of vacation and just didn't get it. We enjoyed the beautiful view of Cape Fear but wouldn't go back again.
  
  I'd say go here for drinks before your real dinner somewhere else.

  Grouper was very fresh & very good.  Shrimp & Grits also great. Appetizers were served in plastic but they tasted great...so you can overlook the plastic. View is fantastic & service great. Definitely going back again.

  Location & view are second to none, and the building is beautiful but everything is served on disposal, plastic dinnerware! So wasteful! Menu was limited. This place could be great, but falls short. We will not be returning.

  Beautiful view of the Southport channel !  That is the only reason to go.
  Good food and service for us , but overpriced for food served in plastic and paper ! No outdoor seating, and noisy. The parking lot is a mud hole and a disgrace . Don't go there if you have a vehicle you care about.

  worst place that i have ever eat at. very expensive with a little amount of food that had a bad taste and also bad sweet tea. everything was pastic like cups and forks and no salt and paper shakers.
