G.I. Friday's

Service is usually sufficient here. But sometimes since the staff is younger there are mistakes. Still, the food is tasty and meal deals are fun and come out quick.

To break it down the way I had to break it down for a manager at this Friday's: There are lots of restaurants in Chambersburg that don't suck the way this one does. Why would I want to subject myself to this again?

Loud. Busy. Chaotic. Terrible kitchen. Magical disappearing staff.

Regrettable.

Though not a fan of corporate restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised when a friend took me to lunch here yesterday.  It was clean and bright--different than some I've been in in the past.  The service was good--just enough attention and efficient.  I got the "just the right size" lunch special of a salad with strawberries and chicken (I can't remember the name).  It was perfectly put together with an awesome balsamic vinegar dressing.  I'd definitely have it again.  My friend has food allergies and they were very accommodating.  So I can't wait to go back and take hubby.
