Georgios Family Restaurant

CLOSED.  I'm sorry to say Georgios' no longer exists.  There is a Rite Aid in its place now.  So sad.  Georgios was housed in an old bank--so it had a quite interesting layout.  There were several little "rooms,"  one of which was designated as non-smoking.  The smoking room was heavy with smoke--but you find this in many Pennsylvania establishments as there is no ban on smoking in PA yet.  (I hope we get a ban soon.)  There was even a "safe" room (where the bank safe used to be--that was used mostly as far as I could tell for private parties.
The fare was good. It was run by a Greek family and I was never disappointed in the service, the quality, or the quantity.  When we first moved here it was one of the first places we discovered (this was five years ago).  I guess they must have gotten a good offer for the property because one day, they were just gone.  So sad.
