Garcia's Cantina and Cafe

Wife and I both had combination platters.  Wow, tons of cheese, we loved it!  Probably not the most healthy, but it sure was good!

Chips and salsa were also excellent.  Ask for hot salsa, it was even better!

Went on a Monday evening around 530, no reservation needed.

Wait staff wasn't excellent by any means, but brought out piping hot food VERY quickly after ordering, so they met the task.  Just took a while to get the table cleared and our bill.

They do NOT accept American Express.

The only things I like from here is their chips and salsa and cheese enchiladas ... Their rice is absolutely DISGUSTING, I dunno if they are trying to be "different" with the rice, but its seriously the most disgusting rice I have ever had at a mexican restaurant.

I read others reviews and I wonder where they went. This has been a lunch favorite of mine for years. The street tacos are superb. The Pollo Fundido is the plate I recommend for all the clients I take there and they all rave.
