Garden

Let me say that this place does make you feel you are in a garden.  With that, I did not mind that there were a few flies flying around.  The ambiance here is an outdoor type of feel, as there is outside seating in the patio with long benches to eat, hangout, have a drink, and mingle with other people there, especially when its at night.  Since I ate here during the day with a few friends and it was hot, I decided to eat inside.

The best part about the food here is the appetizer called "The Pile".  "The Pile" is defined as this:  French fries with jalapenos, bacon, cheese, gravy, and TOPPED with pieces of fried chicken.  In addition to that, you get extra cheese and gravy sauces, WITH the choice of two additional sauces!  Now that's a deal.  This Pile can be split with three to four people with ease and nobody will be disappointed.  The mixture of flavors is great and you can pick many different sauces that can additionally satisfy you and your friend's taste buds.

As for the other food, I had the jalapeno hush puppies which were delish and my main meal was the fried fish tacos.  The tacos were good, but pail in comparison to The Pile since my expectations were soooo high.Do not get me wrong though, I was fully satisfied eating those fish tacos.

They also have many local beers on tap, as well as bottled beers and wine, so I definitely need to come back here at night, drink a few beers, and munch on "The Pile" once again.

The Pile from Geer St. Garden is the truth. Everything blended well together and the flavors were amazing. It was enough for me and 2 friends to share. Very satisfying and would recommend going here for just The Pile alone.

This is a great place for drinks on the patio.  I've been twice and have enjoyed my evenings here.  I've been mainly for drinks, so I can't review the food. If you are looking for a place to relax, get some beers or cocktails on a patio this is the place.  The patio is surrounded by a lush garden, it is well lit, but not overwhelming. We'll be back.
