Gather Wine Bar

Such a great, chill spot..enjoyed .gourmet blt and turkey mango Stilton sandos w great locally grown produce, fun wine selection and friendly knowledgable owner and staff...we will be back!

We went for a leisurely drive and ended up in the quaint town of Arroyo  Grande.  We decided to try Gather Wine Bar for lunch.  What a delightful surprise!  We were greeted by the owner herself and she was quite friendly.  The place has a relaxing friendly vibe and quite light and airy. Perfect for a summer day! They have an outdoor patio as well.  Okay lets get to the good part, THE FOOD!  I had an amazing sandwich with turkey and apricot stilton cheese and swiss cheese with spinach!  My husband had a fantastic BLT melt.  The sandwiches were out of this world.  I really enjoyed the tarragon potato salad aw well! We also indulged on some sinfully delicious bacon wrapped dates that were stuffed with a delicate creamy cheese and drizzled with a perfect balsamic glaze reduction! Wish I had some right now, my mouth is watering just thinking about them!  Gather Wine Bar has a fabulous menu of wines by the glass as you could have guessed by the name of the place.  My husband enjoyed a nice craft beer.  We will definitely be back!

I have never been to another place that served expensive, WARM chardonnay. I couldn't believe how rude they were when we had to ask for ice to chill our wine. The owner and her workers were very rude to our group, and none of us will be going back. Ever.
