After a long morning hike, we stopped in here for some grinders. We ordered a small one, and it was plenty to eat! We didn't wait long for our order, and the pizza smelled great, too. We almost returned the next day, but we were in a different part of the white mountains. Definite lunch stop.
Review Source:Jeepers Creepers...how I love a good greek pizza! And the pizza here is not just good, it's great.
GH did a fine job with the super crisp crust and cheese that is lightly browned and spread about  the surface of the entire pizza right up to the ridged edges. This is not the pizza you can fold in half and consume NY style, but not deep dish Chicago. If you like generous toppings on a firm, crisp crust, you can't go wrong at this place...
The inside is no-frills and very dated. Â Don't think I've seen that much formica since the elementary school caf. Â Simply put, not much thought to decor. Â This restaurant is simply a filling station for bellies that have just been skiing or hiking in the White Mountains 'round here. And really, that's enough.
We had an order to-go while staying up here with the family. Â The choice was a straight up large cheese and pepperoni with a greek salad.
The order was ready in the time promised at a price that I felt was reasonable. Â Two adults and 3 small kids were happily stuffed after finishing up the meal. The Greek salad was enormous and came loaded with feta cheese and black olives (bonus pita bread, too!). Â Gyros, subs and fries round out the rest of the menu. Not sure about beer and wine. Â I didn't notice because of the take-out sitch.
Looking forward to exploring the other menu choices on the next time back.
GH is a favorite of my kids and has grown on both me and my wife. Â Defnitely not a NY style, but a good thick crust, greek style pizza with good flavors. Â We're Lincoln weekenders and typically visit on Friday or Saturday night for pizza to go..it's definitely the best of the local pizza joints. Â What amazes me about the place is the un-smiling, apparently unhappy and pretty grumpy counter workers. In almost 3 years coming up to Lincoln 20 weekends a year, I've never encountered a smile or any indication of happiness there. I told my oldest the G stands for Grumpy. Â Tip to the staff there - Life's too short. Â If working at GH is such a burden, go somewhere else! Â For the love of Mike, find a smile, somewhere, anywhere. Â P.S. I've started purposely forgetting my "number" just to tweak you guys. I'd probably fall down the stairs if someone there actually cracked a smile when I was there.
Review Source:Affordable, hot, and tasty -- just the thing to refuel with after a long day or two out in the White Mountains. Â My standard meal there is a small pepperoni pizza and a fountain drink, which comes to just over $10.
Excellent crust (at least, for those who like thicker crusts, as I do), good (though perhaps a bit sparse) toppings, and notably tasty sauce. Â The staff is pleasant, not too chatty, and the turnaround time on order-to-meal is relatively quick. Â
I've stopped there twice now on expeditions, and I'd definitely think of stopping there again if I got a craving for pizza.
Stopped here on the way back from Errol with my gramma. Â Katie and I had pizza and gramma had a salad.
Very reasonable prices and the pizza was tasty, good crust, tasty toppings. Â The place was a little bit run down, stuffing coming out of the booths. Â But the food was solid. Â Gramma's salad looked tasty and came with a piece of pita bread.
I'd stop again if I were hungry around here.
We always stop here for pizza after hiking the Whites, on the way home to Boston. Pizza is very good & the prices are reasonable. We usually sit down there & eat.
On the last visit this past Sunday night, female employees were not friendly-no smiling-no eye contact-no Thank you. Male employee very helpful when I went to throw trash in bucket & assisted me.
Old carpet floor is dirty & stained & makes the place look "ratty". They need a tile floor which is easily cleaned.
Great place-just needs better attitude & a mini makover.
This is a pan-pizza place with the large pizzas clocking in at only 14 or 16 inches. In most other localities, these would probably be called mediums.
I got a large with roasted red peppers on it that was good... not fantastic. And a large with half sausage. The sausage was skimpy and it was spicy which is unusual for sausage on pizza (at least where I come from).
If you come from southern Connecticut or the NYC area, you will probably consider it a 2 out of 5 stars. If you're from the midwest or some area that doesn't know how to make a good pie, then it's probably a 4 out of 5 stars.
The good news is that they are quick (10 minutes after I called in the order, it was ready for pickup). I didn't dine-in but the tables and booths looked like standard pizza place accommodations.
After receiving rude service @ Dad's restaurant in Lincoln we decided to go back to our hotel room to order some pizza. We ordered from here and waited and hour and 1/2 before calling back. The person who answered the phone and manager stated that we agreed to wait an hour and 1/2 when we called. Obviously we never would agree to that. They stated that they would not reimburse us and were very rude. As pretty as Lincon is, the service at the restaurants/bar's are lacking.
Review Source:Stopped at GH Pizza for lunch during ski runs. I had a decent tasty and filling Gyro ($5.75) with thin grilled meat, tomatoes, onions, and a creamy tangy yogurt on flatbread. GH Pizza & Greek Restaurant also offers pizza, calzones, grinders, salads, spaghetti dinners, souvlakis, baklava, and Coke fountain drinks ($0.50 refills).
There is parking in the front and back of the building with two entrances (short stairs inside to access the counter & dining area with booth seating).
