Hubby and I shared a giant burger and tots and each had a drink. Â Only one bartender as it was in the middle of the day with very few customers, but everything worked out fine. Â Friendly service albeit somewhat slow, but considering one employee served as bartender and cook, Â you can't expect a whole lot else.
Review Source:After spending much of the Fall season driving by this place, I was dying to get in and check it out. Â Me and my girl finally stopped in for some burgs n' beer. Â The dark wood slats and cool "Ghost Hole" signage right in the heart of Garibaldi had piqued my interest for too long.
There was a nice L-shaped bar and circular tables surrounding a few support beams in the middle of the room with people watching the game on one of the many TV's hanging above. Â We chose a table over near the windows facing the street. Â They had some folding tables and chairs tucked back in the corner and a vacuum cleaner along with some other knick-knacks which were sort of a visual let-down at first.
The food was great and service was great! Â The burger was served on a plate full of fries and other fixings with a knife straight down through the middle. Â The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection on a doughy roll made right across the street at the local bakery. Â I had a nice, tall, cold draft accompanying my food as usual. Â There was just one little girl working behind the bar, but she was right on top of everyones service and constantly looking over to see if we needing anything. Â Well done on her part!
This is a great place to warm up after a day out fishing on the bay or even if just passing through on your way along the coast.
