We had our rehearsal dinner at Gigis last week. My husband and I live in NYC so we're a bit spoiled when it comes to restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised with what a great job Gigi's did. It was a beautiful night so we sat outside on the patio. The Service was good, the cheese and Charcuterie Board was awesome, the house salad was great, & the burgers and fish tacos were tasty. We loved having a glass of wine around the fire pit after dinner. Everyone had a great time, thanks Gigis!
Review Source:First time at Gigis on Saturday evening Jul 13. We knew there is a new staff so we went. The small plates were excellent. We had the pork belly and the fried green tomatoes. The tomato bisque was yummy. The cheese and charcuterie board was amazing. Great choice of cheeses Nate! The only drawback in the food were the beef tips-they were very bland and did not even look appetizing. Service was great. The small plates were very artfully presented and the wine menu was extensive. It would be nice if the new management would consider some new interior design as the multiple patterns in the dining room were a bit overwhelming.
Review Source:Happily surprised last night!!! Â
I had not heard good reviews of this establishment, but had heard that they had a new chef. Â Thought we'd give it s try. Â Chef Nate did not disappoint. Â
We had a selection of appetizers that we shared around the table. Â All were very good. Â The mussels came with a half a roasted garlic head - Excellent, some of the best muscles in town! Â Meatballs met a mixed review, our foodies loved it, our traditionalists wanted a red sauce. Â Lamb Lollies were excellent, and the Lobster Mac and cheese was demolished. Â
I had the rib eye with the bone in. Â I liked it very much, but next time I may order it with the sauce on the side. Â It was cooked perfectly, and I would like to really taste the steak. Â
Will definitely go again!!!
