Went to G2 on 7-13-13.Very crowded but got a table right away.Well sat there for 15 minutes before anybody came over.Ordered wine but I think he went to the liquor store to get it.Empty glasses for awhile.Well it gave a chance to look at the menu but when he came back with the refills he put them on the table and jogged away...Waiter came back and we had a very strange discussion about our order.Sides and salads and I knew trouble was brewing.I think the waiter had started about 10 minutes before we got there. The salads came and looked like someone had just ripped a chunk of iceberg on a plate -it was not the dressing that we ordered -some type of white soupy liquid. Now I know I'm in trouble. One order of crab cakes and an order of salmon.Out comes king crab legs. How could you not know salmon from king crab legs !!!!OMG
By the time the fish came out it was time for the styrofoam(to go).The only good thing is the manger did make an adjustment to the bill however first impressions are tough to forget....
Huge portions, this place has long been my favorite seafood place in the area. Very fresh seafood, recently had the oysters, and the ultimate seafood bucket, it consisted of about 2 dozen mussels, clams, sausage, shrimp, scallops, 1/2 lbs. of snow crab legs and a 1 1/4 lbs Lobster for about $28.95, very nice portion, and the garlic white wine sauce it comes in is to die for. Friendly staff, management is always greeting tables, and the location is tops for a summer dining spot. Lots of TV's showing all the games, and a nice sized dining room really makes it a fun place.
