I got married here last summer and could not have asked for a better experience. I've always envisioned having a beautiful outdoor ceremony surrounded by trees, flowers and a beautiful view, and this place met all those requirements and more. The restaurant sits on top of a beautiful green hill overlooking the golf course on one side and the ocean on the other! They also have a small vineyard, as well as a garden (where we had our ceremony). My husband and I live in the city and I still remember him complaining about how far the drive was when we were on our way to visit the venue, but once we got to Giorgio's, the picturesque setting won our hearts. Not only was the outside beautiful, but the interior was as well. I was looking for a place that encompassed both a great interior and exterior, just in case it rained, I wanted option B to be just as great, and this place was exactly that. The dining room was surrounded by large beautiful windows that overlooked the garden and golf course. The cocktail room had a beautiful grand piano. The decor was elegant and classy down to the details. The bride and groom each have their own suites, and they do one wedding at a time. Aside from it all, the food was to die for. There were quite a number of "foodies" at my wedding, and to this day, people still rave about how amazing the food was. The Maitre'D and the wedding coordinator did an amazing job in ensuring everything went smoothly and flawlessly. The wedding coordinator even packed up all my stuff before the end of the wedding so by the time we were ready to leave, everything was ready for us! My husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding worry free thanks to the spectacular staff!
Review Source:Giorgio's has become part of our Christmas tradition. Â We have brunch at some point before the holiday. Â The meal is a little pricey but they have good service and a very nice selection of buffet items. Â Classic breakfast items are joined by pastas and seafood, antipasto, omelet and carving stations. Â All good stuff. Â The desserts are typically good (I did have a bad lemon meringue today but that's a rarity). Â The view is very nice overlooking the community golf course and parts of Calverton. Â If you don't want to valet park, the only open parking is down a steep hill. Â I always used the valet and have never waited more than 5 minutes for the car to come up. Â So it's not worth the trek uphill. Â I also suspect the orange juice is a bargain brand as it's slightly odd tasting. Â Not awful just a little odd. Â All things considered, we'll keep going. Â They do a good job with the holiday brunch. They have Santa and some carolers going table to table and is sets the tone for the season.
Review Source:I really enjoyed my visit here. This place has class, elegance, and great food and friendly servers.
I've been to many catering halls around the Tri-State area, and Giorgio's does it as well as any of them can.
The food was great, cocktail hour and dinner itself. For dinner I was given a pork chop and it was delicious. . I couldn't complain about anything, everything was tasty and the service spectacular.
They even use air fresheners which was a small detail but a noticed one.
My only complaint was that if you wanted to self park, you had to do it down a hill.
