Monday night is the best time to go if you're interested in a great burger. Â They have a $5 special...better than you can do at any fast food joint AND the burgers are really good! Â Be prepared for a 10-minute wait to get a table since it is a popular spot to go on a Monday.
Sports, sports and more sports...on any of the large TVs around the restaurant.
Full bar...get anything to drink that your little heart desires.
The staff is attentive, nice and quick. Â Those are all pluses in my book.
Dinner tonight at Glory Days was a very good experience. Â We met some friends from my former workplace, before retiring to the southwest, for an enjoyable meal and good fellowship. Â I had the flatiron steak which was cooked perfectly along with two good sides. Â My wife had a southwest BBQ chicken salad which was also very good. Â We will return when back in the area.
Review Source:Decided to try Glory Days. Â This is a pretty decent place. Â They have numerous televisions throughout the restaurant. Â They have a box at each table where you can chose what television you want to listen to. Â
We walked in and were seated immediately. Â Wait staff was right at our table. Â Service was great the entire time. Â
Started with the mozarella sticks and they were your average sticks. Â I had the blue cheese and grilled onion burger with onion rings. Â It was a great tasting burger and I left there stuffed. Â
Great selection of food on their menu and will be going back to try more.
Virginia and Maryland based chain, (with this one and only West Virginia location) Glory Days Grill reminds me of an Applebees or Ruby Tuesday with an emphasis on being more of a  "Sports-Bar". Â
The Ranson location has a very large bar and dining area with 22 TV's (11 of which are flat panel HDTVs) tuned into sporting events from around the country.
I wish they had more of a local emphasis in their decor; too many random teams represented on the walls, would like to see more Ravens, Redskins, Orioles, Caps, and Nationals. Â (Not New York Jets, etc...) Â
The food here is pretty standard American food, nothing fancy, but tasty and affordable. Â Pleasant wait staff and courteous greeters have opened the door for us before and after every visit. Â
Overall, worth trying and a good place to grab dinner and a beer. Â $5 burgers on Mondays too!
