There is a non-smoking section but fortunately only one table of smoking folks remained in the "main" section and they  left soon after.  So we enjoyed our late lunch and our family members sans smoke in the "middle" area in between the bar area and the family (non-smoking) area. Â
The soft drinks are bigger than what we get at home for the price. Â Plus there.
Club sandwich with ripple chips and a pickle. Â My Mom and Sis said it was good. Â They shared it, so it's big enough for two little ladies to finish and way too many chips to finish.
Wifey had fried chic sandwich. Â Two pieces with mayo and onions and fries. Â She liked it and finished it off. Â Pickle too. Â Wifey said a bit too many onions and took a few rings off. Â Fries were perfectly cooked and a great portion. Â Chic was crispy and well seasoned. Â Plus.
I had the "lazy" wings, hot garlic style.  That's what the menu says, "lazy".  I see why, they are not wings by any stretch of the imagination.  But there were 5 good size pieces of probably chic breast smothered with tons of garlic and hot sauce, w/o being too vinegary, and the chic still crispy. They did set my mouth on medium fire which I like.  My wifey proly would have said they were "blow your head off", but she can't take heat, lol.  There are 3 other styles you can have, one being just garlic.  Choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing is offered.  Fries were well cooked, not too over done, not underdone.  I don't remember getting the obligatory pickle.  lol  Salt and pepper are served in clean beer bottles.  The whole set up served in an empty beer six pack.  Cute.
We all shared a basket of onion rings. Â My companions said they were ok, but they were over fried. Â Way too crunchy (hard) for me. Â Minus there. Â The menu is paper and faded. Â Hard to read, another minus there.
Service was fast, but we were the only table there. Â But I'll give them a plus for that and our server was friendly. Â Oh, and there's "writing on the wall", lol. Â There's some space left...see photos. Â lol
There is also a cabinet with shirts, hoodies and beer cozies with Brass Pub logo. Â A bit pricey, but hey, when will I get back east?? Â Proly not for a while...
Overall a good experience and  my fam might be back for more sandwiches and  my nephew might try the hot wings.  :)
I have been looking for awesome wings since I arrived in WV. Â My neighbor wanted me to try the wings at the Brass Ring Pub. Â It doesn't look like much from the outside, but lots of room inside. Â We decided to sit at the bar. Â Nobody under 21 allowed in the bar area. Â
They have two happy hours, 4 to 7 and 10PM to 12AM. Â The special was .50 wings and $1.00 drafts. Â Can't go wrong there. Â The wings come in increments of 5 and I decided to try the hot. Â These wings were the best. Â I do not know how they keep them so crispy, yet saucy. Â Â The fries were also very crispy and good. Â I also tried the onion rings and they were ok. Â I found my new place for wings. Â I think this will be a weekly trip for me. Â These wings were awesome..imho. Â
Also, they have a pretty good selection of food on their menu. Â
FYI. Â The pub is located next door to a gentlemen's club.
