The Good Time Tavern

Scotty and Sto are bar none the most interactive (not sure if a good word) bartenders in Livermore, never cease to get to know patrons on a personal level, even when the patron is from out of town. Sto is tons of fun and enjoys having a drink or two with the rest of us while he's working. Scotty is super professional but despite his financial obligation as co-owner still serves drinks at a very reasonable price, especially considering the price of all the bars in the surrounding area. Tuesdays are $2 beers, Wednesday is Open Mic Night, Thursday is Mystery Shot Night (which Sto will not divulge the details of [unless you include candid facebook updates not even remotely linked to the actual shot]) until you actually come in and get one for yourself ($1). Friday and Saturday are a regular night out at the bar, minus the brosephs trying to grind up on all the girls (ladies...). Sunday and Monday are super awesome too because Jessica and Mariana are working (both are sweethearts [Jessica works other days too but usually earlier than I go in]). All in all if you have a powerful thirst and a joy for inebriation and good conversation come no further than one of the only bars in existence that actually lives up to its name. Good Times ya'll.

Your local dive bar. You got your juke box and a pool table. Some outdoor and indoor seating. Your locals. And you can't beat $3 for a whiskey soda...and they make them strong! This place can get packed after a certain time, but if you're lucky enough to show up early, you get seating or at least a table to set your drink down.

great hole in the wall bar. owner/bartender was very friendly. clean bathrooms. cheap drinks. we had went to the beer baron down the street before coming here paid 17 for 2 beers. we had 4 times that much at this place and our tab was 25. albeit we didnt get craft beers but still a big difference in price. nice outdoor patio. plenty of tvs playing sports games. wish we found this place when we were still living in pleasanton. will definitely come back if we are in the area.
