We were on the hunt for a cute wine bar and here we are! In the heart of Livermore! An open concept with a quaint courtyard patio and the live music with an afternoon band rockin' out. This certainly makes for a great way to waste a few tour town hours.
A hidden gem was found  amongst the wine list, a Cremant de Limoux Rose. And poured by the  glass, just lovely.
We shared a the Mediterranean plate. It was not overly exciting. Service went down from here. oh well. If you are not looking for anything too serious a visit here is alright.... Perhaps once.
Love it! Thursday Karaoke and Trivia are the best!
I always have a great time. Â Call ahead and reserve a table for you and your friends!
The wine is great, the food is great.
The staff are super nice and accommodating. Â Spend enough time there and they will be your friends.
Sometimes, I have found the wine a little pricey but you can make it work for a budget by sharing a bottle with friends or buying a beer. Â They will even let you take in a beer from Tap 25 across the way if you are not so into wine.
Definitely a place to check out. Â Great vibe
Friendly place that accepts families with kids. Â Wine flights were only ok (reds were too warm- hello!!!! cellar temperature!) Â Food was so-so. Â The menu sounds good but execution is hit or miss (carnitas sandwiches were good). What really grossed me out was the roast beef. Â A piece slid out of the bun and I got a good look and it was glistening rainbow. Â Ohhhh, rainbow meat in a restaurant? Â Totally nasty. Â I expect it at the LLNL cafeteria, but GROSS. Â Everything else was ok to good. Â I do not get the rave over the secret cake? Â It's nearly burnt vanilla yellow cake. Â So what? Â Nothing special there. Â
Summary-- decent wine/food options in a cool location. Â But don't make a special trip for either the food or wine. Â Underdog is WAY better. Â Will compare to Double Barrell soon.
