Goonies Sports Bar

Pretty good food.  We both had burgers.  They were good, but the patties were overcooked and dry.  The buns and veggies and cheeses and sauces were delicious, but it is hard to enjoy a burger when the patty isn't cooked right.  The barbecue sauce was really good!  Nice smoky flavor.
The service sucked.  It was the middle of the day and there weren't many other people there and it still took the waitress forever to get our orders in.  She came by for the drinks order and then disappeared for a long time.  Then brought the drinks and said she would be right back for our orders and she disappeared again.  This time when she came back we figured we should get our orders out fast before she disappears again and in the middle of giving the order, she interrupts to excuse herself because she didn't have a pen to write things down.....and disappears again for a long time.  Again, could be excusable if it were a busy night or whatever, but there were hardly any people in the bar.

Not a bad place!  But don't expect great service.

Nice little sports bar. Good place to catch a Ducks game on a rainy evening. Cheap beer, $3.50 pints for a mediocre selection. Fair amount of small(er) TVs. Crowd is older than I had hoped for, but there doesn't seem to be much else going on in Oregon's own Bay Area, so here we are.

we used to go to Goonies every friday night for hotwings and beer, it was ok, there were the usuals there at the first table on the right, we usually sat at the other side of the bar at a table and had 3 orders of hotwings extra crispy and a salad and a pitcher of MGD, it was a nice place to have dinner! We smoke so it was good for us!
