I had the Porky's Platter (Granskofski's version of the garbage plate) for lunch with Cheeseburgers and everything but mustard because yellow condiments make me uncomfortable. It was pretty good, but the hot sauce lacked heat--note that this did not stop me from consuming most of it. My coworker had a breakfast sandwich with bacon egg and cheese which he said was "ok."
The experience wasn't at all bad: The food wasn't bad, the servers were not at all bad, the place is diner-themed with jukeboxes and kitchy old-hollywood stuffs...it just wasn't really noteworthy. Even though I have no aversion to eating there in the future if someone wants to, I have no urge to go back for any reason either.
Union Hill Grill, which is right nearby, has a similar menu and better food...plus I really really like the people who work there, as they're very friendly and full of personality...SO...if I am looking for somewhere with this kind of food (think diner) for lunch in this general area, I'll probably go Union.
