Lakeside Restaurant

Thick tough fatty meat. It was made quickly (barely colored, cheese barely melted, a lot of meat on one side and a lot of kraut on the other). The dressing was darker in color with scant pickle. The mac salad is reportedly homemade with egg, celery and carrot, maybe a mayo and dressing blend? There was a general absence of salt and pepper. The staff were friendly on the phone and in person.  I'm pretty sure the owner was at the counter sitting/supervising because he pointed out additional specials which was nice. He then went on to question the server about the amount of thousand island dressing they had left and if they would run out after I ordered extra on the side, as if I asked for an 8 oz container or something. After speaking to another patron he checked in on the kitchen staff, asking questions with the undertone of they should be moving quicker. The owner interaction with the staff made me uncomfortable as a patron, he wasn't overly aggressive but he also wasn't putting off a helpful supportive vibe.
