Not impressed. We ordered two margaritas and they tasted like they were made last month. Everything is pre-made so when my wife ordered fish tacos (3) that was no problem, when I ordered one our server called over the manager and asked him if they could do just one he said no and walked away. I had to stand up and chase him down and ask him again for him to agree with serving me only one. Â Food was not good, not bad, but below average. We won't be back.
Review Source:We would rate this spot way above nearby La Playa. Habaneros is a lot of fun, the service is excellent, and the food is quite good. The Margaritas are pretty strong as well. I enjoyed by Burritos Supreme and heard great things about the Chilequiles and the Quesadilla Rellena. We did not get to sit outside, but inside was quite pleasant.
Review Source:Habby's is a great place no matter what. They accommodate large groups, they are children friendly and have great cocktail specials. It's a family business and very authentic. I suggest getting any margarita with their home town tequila, Degellado (I think) and if you aren't one that like the sour mix of a marg, ask for a "SHORTY". Portions of food are large and reasonably priced. $2.75 happy hour margaritas and an outside tiki bar/deck seating make this place a perfect starter for any evening! Also a good place to bask in the evening sun after the beach!
Review Source:Not the prettiest place, the patio overlooks Highway 17, the inside is a little worn, and they make the best fish tacos I have ever had. Â Ever. Â There is a distinct lime flavor in the fish and the pico is super fresh. Â My husband had the nachos and thought they were very good. Â Service is quick and friendly. Â If we are ever in the area again, we will go back.
Review Source:I stop by here at least once during my annual vacation to Pawley's. There has never been a wait and we always are able to get a seat on the patio. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, but I'm not expecting anything fancy here. They have an big patio, white queso dip, good margaritas, and low prices, which keep me coming back year after year.
