Fun place to go! Â The prices are reasonable and they run coupons and deals often. Â The bar is usually busy and loud while the restaurant is cozier. Â All of the booths come equipped with their own personal flat screen TV so you don't have to worry about missing your favorite shows while dining out. Â You can also shut the TV off if you want to enjoy some conversation. Â The food is great, the chicken marsala is my fave here. Â They have a huge menu-you can get whatever you're in the mood for! Â As far as drinks go, the margaritas here are huge and delicious-I definitely recommend trying them! Â Hawkeye's is a good option for a date, a weekend hang-out with friends or a big dinner with the family!
Review Source:Love this place, perfect for families with kids of any age. Huge menu, we all loved our food. Worth the drive out there!
Kids loved the booths with TVs and Verizon Cable! Can be a distraction while they are eating, but you can always turn it off. And keeps kids happy while adults are visiting!
It is a little off the beaten path but well worth the trip. The food was very good and so was the service. I really didn't expect much from the look and location but I've eaten here a few times and I have not been disappointed. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to friends and family.
Review Source:I showed up with a party of 11 without calling ahead and they had no trouble accommodating. It was an awkward time, like 2:30 on a Saturday so they weren't expected to be very busy, but nonetheless they still were very friendly and it only took  a minute to throw tables together for us.
The food was great, a lot of people in my party got the crab soup and were saying how impressed they were because it's so hard to find that well done in our area. I had a turkey club that was huge! (and delicious).
Absolutely no complaints- a great gem to stumble upon while I was out!
This is our favorite local hang-out. Good drinks, food, and service. There are a variety of brick oven pizza options (including Chicago-style deep dish), daily specials, and a large menu of options to fit every taste. There are lots of choices and periodically we just do "apps for dinner." Everyone can find something to love and their new Sunday Brunch Buffet is great addition.
The tavern has a sports bar feel while the dining room offers a more intimate setting. In the dining room, every booth had its own TV which can be a great option to keep the kids entertained during a lingering, laid back meal.
After almost a year of passing by this restaurant that always seems to be busy, I decided to stop and give it a try for some drinks after work. Â Boy, was I glad I did!
First off, I was surprised by the selection of draft and bottle beers.  I was even able to buy a six pack of my favorite craft beer when I left!  For that reason alone I would come back, but I digress.  Enjoying the atmosphere of the bar which is surrounded by good sized booths to eat, I decided to get something to eat.  Once again, the range of food was pretty extensive so I ask my "very cool" bartender to recommend something unique that they are know for and she told me the crab cakes were great so I ordered them as an entrée.
I started with a house salad which had nice sized chunks of blue cheese throughout, like the kind you get at Mortons...seriously!
Now you have to understand, this restaurant is in the middle of corn fields in PA and getting two HUGE fresh lump crab cakes, which were almost ALL CRAB, was exciting considering I wasn't anywhere near the Maryland coast. Â It was served with a medley of summer squash, cherry tomatoes and zucchini which was roasted to perfection and some Spanish rice. Â At around 20 bucks, I don't know how they stay in business, and I don't care but I am looking forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu.
My quest for the best craft beers on tap led me to the best crab cakes in PA. Who would have thunk it!!!
Nice tavern with good food.
The atmosphere of the building is comfortable and nice. They also have some live entertainment on occasion that adds to the atmosphere.
They have a variety of drink specials and cocktails for their patrons. And the food has always been of good quality.
Hawkeyes is a relaxing place to enjoy a drink and meal.
My mother, sister and nephews and I went here for dinner on a Monday evening. My nephew said that the fish and chips were his favorite so we both got it and it was very good. They gave us so much fish I barely touched the fries. My other nephew always gets the crab cakes at Hawkeyes and he said they were "great as always".
Since I was paying the bill I was very happy with the prices and everyone thought there food was very good.
Although we never turned it on all of the booths had their own tv.
We usually order carryout from Hawkeye's.  Our experiences have been  consistently decent.  We've tried sandwiches (the bread is good), pizza and appetizers.  The quality of the pizza may vary based on the cook. It's either really good or just ok.  My husband doesn't like the fish and chips - the fish and small and frozen.
Review Source:Two thumbs up for Hawkeye's! Â Tried the cream of crab soup special. Â It was excellent! Â First time I have had cream of crab with big pieces of jumbo lump in it. Â Also had the burger. Â Without a doubt the best burger within 20 miles (sorry Bubba's) and I am a burger snob. Â The only thing that would make the burger better is hand cut french fries instead of frozen. Â Still decent fries though. Â Have to give a great review for Katie (I think that is her name) the bartender too. Â She was very friendly and gave us excellent service. Â Thank you Hawkeye's. Â We will absolutely be back!
Review Source:We went there on early on Friday night and it was busy but we were seated right away. There is a nice atmosphere and the interior has been redone and there are plenty of TV's to watch the game. Service was good not great. They offer a lot of different pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, etc. We ordered the hot wings and they were good sized wings and the sauce was spicy but not insanely hot. The pizza was good and my roast beef sandwich tasted great but it was a mess to eat. They served the sandwich on a Kaiser roll instead of a hoagie roll which led to a messy time. Now to the best part....Beer. I love beer and usually around these parts restaurants only serve Bud, Miller light, Coors light and Yuengling. Hawkeye's however has a respectable beer list including Victory and Rogue beers. They don't have a huge beer list but for this area this is as good as it gets. Also the beer is available for take out. Lastly the parking lot. We got there early so we had no problem getting a spot but when we left the parking lot was packed and people were hunting for a spot since there is no were else to park so take one car if you can. In the end a good, much needed restaurant for the area and we will definitely be back.
Review Source:While visiting home for a few days, some friends of my family suggested we meet up at this new restaurant for dinner.
After a nice drive down PA-113 through Silverdale and amongst the farms and fields we arrived.... to a packed parking lot and a 30 minute wait. I was a bit taken that the place was so full. Wait, no, never mind; it's the only legitimate bar for miles so I suppose it's no surprise that all the locals flock here.
Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that Hawkeye's is well-suited to larger parties, as our group of 7 were squeezed into a booth with a chair thrown on the end. Not really optimal conditions for a comfortable and enjoyable meal.
The bar offers the standard draught beers (I think Shock Top was the best I saw, which should give an indication of the selection) and an uninspiring choice of wines by the glass. But this is Yuengling and Miller Lite country, so I suppose it'd be a money-losing endeavor for them to tap specialty brews. You'll have to venture to the bottled beer to try something less mundane but even then you'll find nothing really extraordinary--some Boddington's or a Sam seasonal.
And I'd say the same goes for the food. Typical pub fare of burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and a small selection of entrees. I ended up choosing the Bourbon salmon-- the salmon itself was quite nice, but I couldn't figure out how the spanish-style rice and southwestern roasted corn on the side matched with the sweet, caramelized sauce on the salmon... the components individually were good but didn't work together as a team. Everyone else enjoyed their food: crab cakes, fish 'n' chips, and burgers. Though I didn't taste it, the French Onion soup received accolades.
My overall view of Hawkeye's is that it's a nice place, and I wouldn't object to returning (especially if someone else is paying!), but I also wouldn't go out of my way to go there. I suppose it nicely fills the niche for a more mature pub experience in Upper Bucks County.
