The Hawthorn Bar

This is another pub in Glengarriff that has been around forever! This is a pub of two halves but they are not the two halves you expect if you have read my other descriptions of my famous divided pubs! One half of this is the front bar and the other is the back bar, now the bit at the front is jsut like a normal bar and the bit at the back is normal too except it has more of a dining tables and chairs feel to it, you feel like you're sitting in a restaurant or something when you go in here so if you want to take my advice, you should try and find a sit in the front part of the bar, its better for people watching anyway, you can see everyone walking in and out of the pub. The staff in here are always very friendly i have found and are eager to please.

There is some seating outside this pub but unfortunately they are on the wrong side of the road for catching sun in the summer and the patch of path outside the pub is only small so you couldn't have large groups like you can in the pubs across the road.
