Friendly and fast service. Â Nice little salad bar with fresh Ingredients including homegrown cherry tomatoes and homemade croutons. Really good blue cheese dressing. Â I ordered the half rack of ribs. They were tasty with scratch made BBQ sauce. Â Sweet potato fries were awesome! Crispy and cooked perfectly. Â The hubby ordered the ribeye. Â He thought it was tender, almost cooked perfectly but slightly overdone but flavorful. Â Mashed taters were nice too.
All in all a nice surprise for a small town and a little pricey but that's to be expected. Â I'll definitely go back, I'm anxious to try they're breakfast.
In the past, Hindquarter House had a dubious reputation up here on the Divide, but the new ownership has certainly changed things. We WILL be going back! Our dinner was fresh and super YUMMY! The bleu cheese, blackened butter, clam chowder and even the broccoli sides  (just to name a few things) were superb.  The homemade ingredients make the flavors pop and our beef was cooked really nice.  One of the guys in our party had his blackened NY steak cooked well and it was cooked AND still  juicy. The rare meats were superb. The service was attentive and friendly.
Review Source:My fiance and I went for a 4 hour hike not too far from there and on our way outta town to head home we saw this place and thought we would give it a try. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door by the very friendly and helpful bartender. He happily offered us a seat at the bar and asked what he could get for us. We asked for menus and some adult beverages. I ordered a grape vodka red bull which ended up being quite pricey ($15, my only gripe), fiance grabbed an average priced beer. We then ordered two burgers off the menu - one came with fries the other with onion rings. The burgers were amazingly juicy and flavorful, very large patty and "fixins" were on point. We would definitely be regulars there if we lived closer. The fries weren't the greatest but the onion rings were delicious! We will definitely be returning after our next hike.
