On my way down south I stopped here to grab a quick bite. I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich, potato salad and sweet tea. Price was a little over $10, it was good. Bar-b-q sauce was good and the service was pretty quick. If you're thinking this is a sit down and serve you kind of place your mistaken. The brisket was good, moist just right, the lean brisket looked dry like any lean brisket. Â This is a very casual but very friendly establishment.
Review Source:The BBQ meats were excellent, the coconut meringue pie was heavenly. However, the sauerkraut was raw and sour, like it came out of a can, it was not in any way prepared and ready to serve as a side dish as far as I am concerned. There was no diet cola, only diet Dr. Pepper. The bathrooms had gotten overrun. It was an uneven experience.
Review Source:I went to here for Dinner with my boss after he told me he had eaten there the night before. He was very excited about it and told me that it was more like the Tennessee style Bar-B-Q that he knew. I will say that it was pretty good but not great. The meat had a smokey flavor to them that some of the other Bar-B-Q places didn't have but the sides were limited (mostly some version of a salad). All and all not a bad place but not great...maybe I just don't have a taste for Tennessee Bar-B-Q.
p.s:I now think its kinda not far that there are two review places for this restaurant
