  Hofer's is your neighbor bar where everyone knows everyone.  I guess in a town of about 2,600, you're bound to run into these people again.  Lets just say that I tend to stand out here as much a tranny whore at a church retreat.  But people are pretty nice here.  This is what I truly love about this place where you can only find in a small town.  Lets say you go in with $10 bucks but end up not drinking your $10 dollars worth.  They will give you these wooden poker like chips that you can bring back next time to drink with so you don't have to pay again.  My buddy would always grab his father's chips to go drinking.  Not sure if they still do it but think that's pretty awesome.
