  Holman Vally Steak House is only open 3 days a week. Thursday through Saturday and they only open for dinner.  
  
  We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer. They were pipping hot and not greasy. Some of the best that I have had. Served with ranch dressing.
  
  For my entree I ordered the 10 -12 oz ribeye. The dinner comes with your choice of baked potato or fries, soup and salad.
  
  Soup choices are homemade chicken noodle or potato soup. I had the chicken noodle and it was great. I also tried the potato soup, it was good but not like you would expect. It was more of a clear broth, not the standard creamy style.
  
  The salad was pretty plain, one tomato slice and blue cheese. Complementary crunchy bread sticks were also serve with the soup / salad. They are kind of like long croutons. Very good.
  
  I had ordered my ribeye rare, unfortunately it was a very thin steak so it came out overcooked about med to med well. No seasoning at all.  I wouldn't order it again.  I may try the chicken fried chicken next time.
  
  The special of the day was the chicken fried ribeye. I didn't try it but was told it was just ok, it was lacking in seasoning as well.  Our waitress also said they can chicken fry anything on the menu if we wanted. LOL
  
  Service was great. Our waitress was very friendly. All in all an enjoyable meal.
