The Homestead Restaurant & Tavern

The atmosphere at the Homestead cannot be beat. Especially the upstairs. There are few places that I enjoy visiting more for a beer and really tasty appetizers than the upstairs bar, with its comfortable couches, fireplaces and great music.

Besides the incredible appetizers, the food is pretty hit or miss. I've had some great meals here (some of their salads are awesome) but also some really terrible ones (skip the pizza. Really.). Despite the fact that the food isn't great? I keep going back because the vibe of the place is just that good.

Excellent Fillet Mignon.  Service could have been a little better as I had to flag the waitress down for another drink a few times but it was busy and their was a huge function going on.

Called ahead and was seated in approx 10min. Ordered Fettuccine Alfredo and it was bland and watery. Asked for grated cheese to try to thicken it.  Overpriced  and terrible experience. We will not be back.
