hey it beats the British Beer Company - not that it's saying much. But the service is great :)

Stopped by only because the adjoining hotel gave me a token for a free dessert.  My wife and I ordered the Strawberry Shortcake.  What we received were two buttered English Muffins with whipped cream and frozen strawberries strewn on top.  It was horrible.  The only saving grace was that this disastrous dish was free.

I can see how they may get mixed reviews.  Appears to be understaffed.  I only came to the bar for drinks as a guest of the hotel that is attached.   The meals coming out of the kitchen did not have the appearance of something appetizing.  

Bartender was attentive and polite. I didn't wait long for drinks and the pours were generous.   I don't suggest eating here as a hotel guest.   There are plenty of other options closely.  But it is a logical stop for a nightcap as a hotel guest.
