This review is only getting 2 stars because I love the food....The rest of the experience was awful, every time we went there.
Last summer ('11) my boyfriend and I went there and the air conditioner was broken. Â That wouldn't have been so bad had it not been 86 degrees out and if they weren't refusing to seat anyone on the patio. Â Weird, huh? Â Anyway, flash forward to Memorial Day '12....We decided to try out the new location. Â It was another hot, steamy day and again, hardly any air on at all. Â It was so uncomfortable! Â We ordered drinks and 15 minutes later, when we got them I realized that my fuzzy navel was warm, even with ice, my boyfriends beer was warm as well. Â We came to the conclusion that they used hot glasses from the dish washer, rather than chilled glasses. Â When we got our food it was so hot in the restaurant that it was nearly impossible for us to enjoy eating, as sweat was pouring down our faces. Â We were one of 2 tables and our server never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks (which we did, we were so hot and thirsty) and it took her 22 minutes after she gave us our check to come bring us our change. Â We will NEVER go back. Â Sorry to say that because again, we really like the food there....Bummer!
I feel this place is day and night depending on when you come here. Â If it's packed then your food will be slow to roll out but if it's not packed and you're getting a pizza and wing combo then it's not bad at all.
We normally stick to the pepperoni pizza and buffalo wings as they're pretty solid. Â I haven't tried anything else on the menu and probably won't seeing the reviews here.
I really don't know how I feel about this place. Ive been to the location at the Boulevard mall and the pizza is okay, but everything else I've had was meh. My favorite pizzas from this place is the white pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza. If I had it my way I would go somewhere else if I had the option.
The biggest negative to this location is the area. Lots of traffic and hard to get out of the parking lot when you want to leave.
Went here because it was a place my fiance used to go to as a child growing up in Niagara Falls, NY.
Place was super packed and wings took forever to come. The wings were crispy which is a MUST for me but they weren't spicy AT ALL even though we ordered the spiciest sauce that was available. Â Perhaps it's because I am West Indian and my degrees of hot differ from Americans, but their sauce seriously didn't even come close to store-bought hot sauce.
Overall, it wasn't a bad experience but I've definitely had better. I think my fiance now has a new view of Honey's because it isn't the same Honey's he went to as a child. At least not the same great taste remembered...
By far the best wings my group and I have ever had. Â This is the only place in the area that has great service. Â The wait staff was very friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. Â This is also the only place in the area that was not rude and actually cared about the customers. Â I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.
Review Source:Waitresses were too busy eating to serve. When they did, they just barely cared really to serve me. Food took forever. Wings were blah, salad was boring...croutons were packaged and a bit stale. The Guinness was poured in a rush so the head was half the glass...took a while to settle. Just not worth the stop.
And STOP SWEEPING AROUND MY TABLE WHEN I AM EATING...I AM NOT THAT MESSY...OR YOU CAN WAIT TIL I'M GONE...
I went her a few months ago and just thinking back about my experience makes me shudder. Â
Food first. I had pizza logs. Â They were taken out of the freezer, thrown in the fryer for a couple of minutes till luke warm and then served with tomato sauce that was taken directly out of the fridge and put on the table (cold!). Â My husband ordered something that the waiter eventually came back and told him that he forgot they were out of. Â I don't remember what he ended up getting.
Tables were dirty, service was poor, the booths were those hard, thin wood ones. Â The people at the next booth over were right up against our backs and we basically sat and listened to their entire conversation. Â We will never go back. Â I felt dirty.
The food is descent. Not the best place to go for pizza or wings within Niagara Falls but it definitely has a great night life atmosphere. It's located at the Prime Outlet Mall off of Military Road so it can be pretty busy on weekends for lunch and early dinner. I hardly ever go here to eat but during the summer I come here a few times a week to get drinks and enjoy good times with friends. They have different specials for every night of the week too! Monday nights are great to watch football here since the place is loaded with TVs and they have beers for $1.25 a bottle!
Overall this place gets 3 stars for food but 4 for nightlife!
