Basell's Restaurant & Tavern

Sunday night before heading back to the GTA, we were looking for a crepe place but it was close and saw this restaurant.
It is like going back in time since its decor and chattels are back from many years ago. We order soup and a hot beef sandwich, portions are enormous and with a very traditional taste, like grandma is cooking in the back!

Very worthy breakfast! Excellent environment and waitress!

The only reason I have a 4 star is how dated this place is, but at the same time it is cool. It is very clean.
The food is 5 stars. Very good with BIG portions and reasonably price. You can also do half orders for kids.  The wait staff were excellent.  I do recommend.
