The Hood Bar & Pizza

Went here as a pregame for Coachella.  Kind of a hole in the wall, so it's easy to miss, but.... I probably wouldn't go here normally (also considering I'm not from here aside) unless I was craving some cheap booze and food.  It has a pretty grungy, divey feel.  Pizza is pretty good - has plenty of stomach lining grease.  Pretty standard cocktail/beer selection.  There are a few pool tables around as well.  Other than that, the place is pretty unremarkable/average.

Noted from another review: Clean your bathrooms.  Nothing like seeing mystery stranger splooge all over the place.  Gross.

THEY STOLE MY CREDIT CARD AND CHARGED PURCHASE ON IT WHEN IT WAS TAKEN FOR THE TAB!!!! Bar policy is to take a credit card when you purchase and ear at the bar. Fine, I can understand when you have a bunch of sketchy people that will dine and dash in a second. Didn't think anything of it until my credit card company called me 2 days later inquiring about some odd purchases made. Had I used that credit card anywhere else in the past 2 weeks, I could say that it may not have been someone at the Hood, but I can't so there it is. Thank God for fraudulent charge reimbursement. My advice, if you want obnoxious townies hollering their life story across the bar, warm stale beer, pizza that is forgettable as well as the headache of cancelling a credit card because of an employee with sticky fingers, eat here! You'll regret it I'm sure...

You can get herpes just from sitting on the chairs. Music sucks, quality of people is low. And you can find much better food else where. If your broke, and need to catch an std this is the place for u
