I love Hua Guan! Â It is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Brigham City! Â I used to order stuff that wasn't on the menu, and I ordered it every time I went in. Â She finally put it on the menu! Â
Lately we have been eating the Kung 3 and Spicy Garlic 3 ingredient, as we are trying to stay away from the fried foods as much as possible. Â Beef, Shrimp, and Chicken. Â They are pretty close to the same dish, there are a few differences, such as peanuts, and the Kung 3 is spicier than the Spicy Garlic.
The owner is nice, sometimes she is hard to understand, but by the end of the conversation you will know what she is saying. Â
If you get the wontons, my fav are the Green Onion ones. Â They are awesome! Â Hot and Spicy soup over the egg drop any day! Â
We used to get the Sesame Chicken and the Pepper Salt Chicken, those were are go to dishes. Â We always ordered the same combination, and when we ordered it, she would always come out of the kitchen to talk to us as we were the only one's who seemed to order it. Â
Watch for her specials! Â She runs them every once in a while and they are pretty good to eat!
Came here with family while on road trip. After days of fast food and BBQ, everyone was craving for a good sit down Chinese meal. The older generation are a bit picky about their food, so I was a bit unsure about going to this place.
We were all very pleasantly surprised. The service was great, and the server suggested dishes were all pretty authentic. Even the "Americanized" Chinese food were executed well. I've had worse food in Los Angeles smack in the middle of Asian communities, so to have Chinese food this good here, in Brigham, really impresses the heck outta me.
If you travel here and are looking for Chinese food, go to Hua guan china restaurant!
Coming home from Bear Lake, a nice greasy plate of Chinese food sounded amazing. Not much to choose from between Bear Lake and Ogden though. (Too broke for Maddox) We saw this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try.
Bland. Salty. Cold. Disgusting.
I got the curry chicken. I should KNOW by now not to get curry chicken from any of these sorts of places, but i still do in hopes that suddenly somewhere will get it right. Didn't taste like curry at all. Some hot peppers but that's about it folks.
Husband got the shrimp and veggies in lobster sauce. Disgusting. The sauce was cold and congealed. The shrimp were rubbery. The veggies were way past mushy and heading towards slimy. The lobster sauce had an awful flavor. We didn't take leftovers home and had raging stomachaches that night.
