Someone else described this restaurant as having a 'downward spiral of service' and that is perfectly accurate. Â
Right after ordering, our non-rowdy, polite, mature (40's) and STONE COLD SOBER group was reprimanded by one manager for bringing "a lot" of wine into the restaurant. Â We were made to feel as though we had done something inappropriate or distasteful but were not given any specifics. Â He actually said "I'm not at liberty to say". Â Each of us at the table agreed that it was the most offensive experience we have ever had in a restaurant. Â
Shortly after, a second manager came over to apologize for the incident, and told us we would be getting a new server. Â
However, as it was late, we were starving, and it was a Saturday night at the peak of dining hours, we decided to stay. Â Huge mistake. Â The food was mediocre at best. Â Upon finishing, we received our bill - the full bill, without any discount or offering for the offense.
A representative from our group spoke again to management (to the first manager, unfortunately the second had already left). Â He again proceeded to insult our friend and our entire group and literally said to her "Now I know you are drunk - you are repeating yourself", after she continued to ask him what our offense was. Â In case you were wondering - she had one glass of wine. Â Drunk... really? Â
It honestly felt a bit like a twilight zone episode- none of us could imagine why or what caused this individual to behave in this manner (including our 'new' waiter, and the other manager). Â Regardless, the end result is to pass along this message: Â STAY AWAY.
and yes- I joined YELP just to post this review - it was that bad
