Stopped in here on our way thru MD, and were pleasantly surprised, it is a "have a seat where ever you'd like, honey" kind of place, Â we had a great waitress and a great breakfast, Â would definitely stop here again. Â The only knock against it, they don't serve grits, but I'll manage.
It is a small place hidden behind a gas station but it's there !
I eat breakfast here almost every morning during the week, and usually stop by with some friends on the weekend for breakfast or lunch. Â The diner has an older style to it. Â Swivel chairs at the counter, tables and chairs throughout the rest.
Everyone is pretty friendly that works there and this is a local place with lots of regulars who joke around and sometimes it can be noisy. Â But normally it's a quite pleasant place to enjoy a meal. Â The menu has lots of choices and is pretty customizable.
On the weekend it can be pretty crowded. Â Lots of families, friends and weekend motorcycle clubs like to stop in. Â There is only one grill so you might have to be patient until your order is ready on busy days like this.
Oh, and even though this probably sounds like a commercial, they've added home made pies and muffins to the menu. Â They're pretty ballin'. Â I still haven't had one of their milkshakes or root beer floats.
And to let people now, as of right now it is CASH ONLY. Â They say one day soon they'll get a credit card machine (I've suggested one of those iPhone card swipe attachments), but until then there's an ATM at the Shell Station, BP station and the PNC Bank right nearby.
