Ingram's Diner

Stopped in here on our way thru MD, and were pleasantly surprised, it is a "have a seat where ever you'd like, honey" kind of place,  we had a great waitress and a great breakfast,  would definitely stop here again.  The only knock against it, they don't serve grits, but I'll manage.
It is a small place hidden behind a gas station but it's there !

I eat breakfast here almost every morning during the week, and usually stop by with some friends on the weekend for breakfast or lunch.  The diner has an older style to it.  Swivel chairs at the counter, tables and chairs throughout the rest.

Everyone is pretty friendly that works there and this is a local place with lots of regulars who joke around and sometimes it can be noisy.  But normally it's a quite pleasant place to enjoy a meal.  The menu has lots of choices and is pretty customizable.

On the weekend it can be pretty crowded.  Lots of families, friends and weekend motorcycle clubs like to stop in.  There is only one grill so you might have to be patient until your order is ready on busy days like this.

Oh, and even though this probably sounds like a commercial, they've added home made pies and muffins to the menu.  They're pretty ballin'.  I still haven't had one of their milkshakes or root beer floats.

And to let people now, as of right now it is CASH ONLY.  They say one day soon they'll get a credit card machine (I've suggested one of those iPhone card swipe attachments), but until then there's an ATM at the Shell Station, BP station and the PNC Bank right nearby.

Incredible.  The ultimate BLT, a BLT with ham, cheese, and a fried egg.  Navy bean soup out of the world.  Go out of your way to get there.
