I don't know what it is about this place. The food is good, but nothing to write home about. It's hot and filling and their Pub Fries are the BOMB! I guess its just the atmosphere. The place is comfortable. At times it can be empty and at other times it can be packed to the walls. Depending on when you come, it can be that dark hole you're looking for or party central. The staff has always been great. They're friendly and as quick as they can be. Prices are what you would expect, not too high and not dirty cheap. Plenty of TV's around. Also, a pretty generous outside eating/drinking area. Throw in a couple of dart boards and a pool table and you got a decent place to spend your evenings.
If given one place to hang in Tuscaloosa, this would be it.
Reviewed strictly as a restaurant, it's just okay.  Just pub food and few "specialty" dishes from the UK/Ireland: bangers & mash, fish & chips  and Shepard's pie.  Innisfree is efinitely set up to be a watering hole, and its layout is great for that purpose but not so much as a restaurant.
