Retro lounge. Event space. Stage and screen. A very unique spot in the heart of the up-and-coming yet trendy Warehouse District of Traverse City.
I came here for a tech event and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of space there was for mingling, grabbing appetizers and settling down at a table near the stage. Very big space with two sides to choose from- one a bar, the other more of a conference room.
I realize this place might be on yelp under something else but I'll forge ahead anyways. Â This venue is a gallery, concert space, and bar/cafe(?). Â They sold drinks, I dunno about food.
Onto the art, there was this crazy awesome dress made out of barbed wire and chicken wire and it could be yours for only 450$. Â We looked around to see if it was titled, but we gave it the nickname of 'bondage.'
There were also a variety of shadowboxes, sculptures, and some collage/decoupage type thingamabobs. Â The whole scene has a funky, off flavor to it, but again it works.
