A new restaurant, and a great addition to Salisbury.
This place isn't fancy or expensive, but the food is good, the live music good too. Â There are some fancy seafood/crab restaurants in town, which I feel are pretentious and not that good. Â There are lots of cheapo places and fast food worth avoiding.
This is a relatively new restaurant, and I think it's a keeper. Â We ended up going back again -- it's both a good value and a genuine neighborhood pub, despite its location in a strip mall. Don't be deterred, it's worth a visit.
I had the stew, my sister had a burger. Both were good. Â The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere inside was very pub-like (hard to do in a strip mall).
I'm a fan.
Food was above adequate, but atmosphere was sub-par. Very long wait with uncomfortable (straddling a barrel) seating. Â Manager came mid-meal to take one of our chairs away and seemed annoyed that we hadn't used the barely visible hook on the bottom half of the barrel to hang a coat. Â Also, seated near the bar, there was typical, non-sensical conversation that was loud and difficult to tolerate. Â Most of the staff was attractive, including our waitress Megan, who seemed very nice. Â Too much emphasis on aesthetics, and too little on customer service, but, it's a bar by a college, so that is to be expected.
