Ironwood Grill

This restaurant was fine. If you ever feel like a bar is lacking on TVs then this would be perfect for you since there is more visual stimulation in this bar then you could ever need.

The waitress talked up the in-house smoking so I decided to try the brisket. To my shock the kitchen cut the brisket the wrong and I was served 4 leathery straps of meat. The meat itself was cooked fine but this is food prep 101. I didn't have the energy to make a fuss so I didn't send it back...but I have no desire to go back to a place that displays such a lack of knowledge about food.

I am very upset that I have to write a review about this restaurant.  This was my second time here. The first time I came.. it was Great service and great food. The only reason I am writing this is mainly because of one the managers. Her name is Christine. She definitely did not handle the situation correctly. She actually made the situation worst.
To make this short: My cousin and I were excited to come back but from the beginning our waitress seemed like she was ready to go home and I was only around 5pm. The customer service from our waitress was horrible. So we asked for the manager. Christine comes to the table to address the situation with our starter(wings) instead of apologizing and making us feel comfortable she justasks us do we want a new server. We said yes... waited 5-10 min for the next server to come. As we waited we bit into the wings and they were well over done.
We were done with this place. We told the waitress to take the with.gs back and give us the bill for the 2 drinks we barely touched. the waitress comes back and tells us the drinks are on the house and we were all set. I was upset that we still didn't get a apology or anything to make us come back to the restaurant. I told her to bring Christine to the table. Waited another 10 minutes for her to come to the table. she had her defense up as soon as she got to us and I couldn't believe the way she was speaking to us. I left very upset and still is. A simple sorry and maybe a gift card to make us come back to give them another chance would have been ideal. Instead she has 2 customers leave unhappy and with no reason to return. I will be speaking to the owner.

I'm definitely a fan of Ironwood. It's like a classy, trendy sports bar. When I still ate meat, I ordered the BBQ wings. I never had better wings than at this place! Now that I'm vegan, there are still plenty of options for me, including excellent salads, pizza creations, and the kick-ass hummus salad wrap. You HAVE to try to sweet potato fries! Every time I've been there I've been seated as quickly as possible and my waitress has always been super friendly, nice, and efficient. Great place to go with friends, especially if you're into watching sports and eating amazing food.
